Story
Introducing Jedi! Jedi is a 19lb, 10.5 year old senior who acts like he's 7. Seriously - he has spunk, can move around, and does the cutest little runs in the yard. Jedi came into rescue when his owner could no longer care for him due to owner's health.Jedi has been with his foster for a little over two weeks, and in that time we have learned about him. 1. He LIVES to cuddle/snuggle. If there is a lap, he wants to be on it or beside it. If you need a napping buddy, Jedi will always always volunteer.2. Jedi loves to eat. None of that picky with food shenanigans for him. Mealtime is always a good time for Jedi.3. Jedi is fine with other dogs provided they are respectful.4. We have not cat tested him but believe he would be fine coexisting with a cat -- perhaps not a kitten.5. He is not a fan of the crate but will settle down and sleep there when you put him in. If he's crated while fun is happening, he has major FOMO and is vocal about his feelings.6. His farts are lethal. If you're looking for someone to blame your gas on, Jedi is up for the job.7. He can do small sets of stairs but would prefer a home where the main floor leads to a yard for him to go out and do his business.8. Jedi wants a home where the humans outnumber the pets or where there is a 1:1 ratio. While he understands that other furbabies in the home are deserving of love and attention, he doesn't want to give up HIS access to a comfy lap for his fursibling.9. He will potty outside but also has some accidents indoors. Please be willing to use a doggie belly band and/or frequent potty breaks.10. He is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, neutered, and has had a blood panel. Jedi is sure to both melt and heal your heart with his love and adorable nature. Story
Looking for a little dog with a whole lot of heart? Meet Ian! Ian is a 1.5-year-old black and white sweetheart who proves every day that a rough start does not define your future. This pint-sized boy previously suffered a hip injury, which has healed beautifully, and his happy, playful spirit never missed a beat. Ian is fun, boisterous, and full of contagious joy. He loves attention, enjoys romping around with his toys, and is always ready for a cuddle when playtime winds down. He does well with other dogs and would make a wonderful addition to a home with canine friends. Ian also loves his food and is happily not picky. He eats from a slow-feeder bowl to help him enjoy his meals at a healthy pace and aid digestion. Medical Transparency (the important but reassuring part): Ian has Diabetes Insipidus, which is not the same as diabetes mellitus. This condition affects how his body concentrates urine and has nothing to do with blood sugar. • Oral medication only — no shots or injections • Takes medication twice daily to maintain healthy urine concentration and support full bladder emptying • Medication may be lifelong or temporary, depending on future veterinary guidance • Medication cost can vary depending on the veterinarian or pharmacy • Needs frequent potty breaks Ian does wonderfully on his routine and is otherwise a happy, active, affectionate young dog. He is looking for a loving home that will appreciate his joyful personality and continue his simple daily care so he can thrive for years to come. Are you ready to give this resilient, playful boy the forever home he deserves? Basic Info: Male, 1 yr old, Boston Terrier/Chihuahua, Coat: Black and White, neutered, microchipped, up to date on shots and preventions, preventatives. Local adoption fee (Texas) - $200 Out of state adoption (includes transport to your area) ‐ $450

Story
Meet Ellie Ellie is a sweet senior Boston Terrier, estimated to be between 10–12 years old, who came to us from animal control and has completely stolen our hearts. She is black and white with gentle graying around her muzzle and eyes—little reminders of a life well lived and the wisdom that comes with it. Ellie is a loving, affectionate girl who truly enjoys the cozy things in life. She loves wearing sweaters, being pampered, and soaking up attention from her people. Her energy level is low, making her a wonderful companion for a quieter home. One of her favorite pastimes is curling up in her dog bed, tucked under a blanket where she can feel safe and warm. When Ellie arrived, she had several untreated medical conditions. She tested positive for Lyme disease, which she likely had for quite some time, and has since completed treatment. She also has kidney disease and receives regular veterinary monitoring. Since being placed on a prescription kidney diet, her levels have improved, and she will need to remain on this prescription-only diet for the rest of her life—which she happily enjoys. Additionally, Ellie came to us with uveitis that we suspect went untreated for a long period, resulting in partial blindness. Despite everything she’s been through, Ellie shows us every day just how much she loves life. She gives kisses freely, adores attention, and doesn’t mind being carried around. She is gentle, trusting, and great with everyone she meets, including other dogs and cats. Ellie is looking for a loving home where she can be cherished, kept comfortable, and continue to enjoy the simple joys she deserves. She may be a senior with medical needs, but her heart is full, and she has so much love left to give. Adoption application can be found at this link-https://airtable.com/shrAznkHf1ruIqQwq
