  Meet Maple and Marmalade, Boston Terrier/Shepherd mix puppies with a weight of 12 pounds and an age of 12 weeks! They should mature to around 35 pounds. These playful pups are full of energy and love to entertain with their funny antics. Maple and Marmalade wear short black and white coats. These girls enjoy playing with toys, exploring their surroundings, and spending time with their human and canine friends. They are little bundles of joy that would make a great addition to any family. They are ready to fill your home with laughter and love! Adopt Maple or Marmalade (or both!) and experience the joy of having a loyal, funny, and loving companion. (ME, 2/26/24)     **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. ** Adoption: $395 which covers quarantine, shots, worming, medical records, spaying/neutering, microchip and an Alabama State Health Certificate.   Transport, if needed  $160   We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip . Story
My name is Lucy. I walk well on a leash or harness and I'm house trained. I would be an excellent companion, I love to snuggle under the covers in bed or on the couch. I do get very attached to my person and follow them closely. I provided great entertainment when playing with a toy or my tail. I Love peanut butter and treats but I'm sort of a picky eater, maybe mixing in some canned food with dry kibble would be nice. I'm a little shy at first when meeting people or dogs; took about 1 1/2 weeks for me to be really comfortable in my foster home. I will bark at dogs when first getting to know them or if they're barking or rough housing. I like to be the alpha and if the other dog or cat is calm I'll try to sit on them to dominate; actually pretty cute! If cats run I will chase but do nothing with them. If cats are calm, I walk right by them. I go to visit the nursing homes, but I'm wiggly until I'm ready to be in a lap. I Loves to ride in the car. We don't usually adopt out dogs but she is spayed, heartworm negative and on prevention, and current on all shots-- Please adopt her.

Our best guess for Oliver's breed mix is Boston Terrier/Pitbull (just a guess). Oliver enjoys daily walks and play time in the backyard. Oliver is a happy boy who enjoys doggie toys and gets the evening zoomies. Oliver is good with other dogs and will need another playful dog in his forever home. Oliver is NOT good with cats. Oliver is not in a foster home with children, but we feel he would do well with children 5 years and up. Oliver is neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative and microchipped. ***You must be at least 25 years of age to adopt from Canine and Kitties Rescue*** The adoption fee for this dog is $375.00, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. ***Please note that our first step in approving adoption applicants is to complete a vet check. Vetting of current and past pets is very important to us, thus we will be speaking with the vet(s) listed on your application to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies), spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives and examined annually by your vet.*** Our organization cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care.
