Story
Hi, my name is Maggie, and I am looking for my forever home! My current caregivers describe me as friendly and very bouncy. I am housetrained and do great when on my own at home. I love other dogs, but can be dominant, so I may need a patient canine housemate. I am friendly with cats, but I also think they're fun to chase. I have not lived with kids, but my brief encounters with them have been positive, and my gentle, friendly nature make me a good candidate for a family home. I am also deaf, but I don't let that slow me down at all! Those close to me said, "Maggie is a very sweet dog with a very gentle disposition. She loves car rides and she loves to cuddle. She likes to be near people and likes to sit with you. She is deaf, but that doesn’t seem to stop her." I am in foster, so if you would like to set up an appointment to meet me, email adoptions@angelsofassisi.org today!

Story
He was dropped on the side of the road about 1 1/2 years ago. He is aprox. 3 years old now. I was going to take him to the pound but decided to keep him. He is a happy dog full of energy and a lot of personality. He listens, he is house trained, and he loves being close to people. He's also very eager to ride in anything that moves. He'd jump on a motorcycle if he could. He is very territorial and will bark when he hears an "intruder" outside. He does not do well with new dogs in/or around his "home" but seems to do fine with female dogs. He is not good with cats.

Story
✨ Meet Ginger — a tiny puppy with a big heart and an even bigger future. ✨   This 3-month-old Boston Terrier mix weighs about 10 pounds and is already stealing attention everywhere she goes. With her scruffy little cheeks and bright, curious eyes, Ginger has that “you can’t help but fall in love” kind of cuteness.   Ginger is your classic happy puppy — playful, energetic, and always ready for fun. She loves running around with toys, exploring her surroundings, and enjoying the company of other dogs. She has a naturally friendly personality and seems to adore just about everyone she meets.   Once she’s done playing, Ginger turns into a total cuddle bug. She loves being held, petted, and close to her people. She’s the kind of puppy who wants to be right where the love is.   She is currently learning pad training and is doing her best, though she still has the occasional accident as she continues to learn. Like all young puppies, she just needs consistency, patience, and guidance.   Her parents are a Boston Terrier mix and a Wheaten Terrier, both around 30 pounds, so she is expected to remain a small-to-medium sized companion.   Because she is still so young, Ginger needs a home where someone is around most of the time to help her grow, train, and feel secure. A fenced yard would be a big bonus so she can safely burn off puppy energy. Children 8+ would be a great match for her gentle, playful nature.   Ginger isn’t just adorable — she’s the beginning of a lifelong best friend.   If you’ve been waiting for a puppy to grow up beside you, love you unconditionally, and fill your home with joy… Ginger is ready to meet you.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMay 17, 2026, 8:16 pm

Story
Meet Gidget — a tiny girl with a big personality and an even bigger heart.  At just 3 months old and only 9 pounds, this little Boston Terrier mix is as adorable as they come. With her short, stubby legs and stunning brindle coat, Gidget has that irresistible “stop-you-in-your-tracks” kind of cuteness — and once you see her face, you won’t forget it. Gidget is everything you’d hope for in a puppy. She’s playful, curious, and full of joyful energy, always ready to chase a toy or bounce around with her doggy friends. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would absolutely love a playful companion to grow up with.  But she’s not all zoomies — Gidget has a soft, snuggly side too. She loves to curl up close, soaking in all the affection she can get. She may be just a little shy when meeting new people, but give her a short moment and you’ll see her sweet, loving personality shine through. She’s currently working on pad training and, like any young puppy, she’s still learning. She’s trying hard and making progress every day — she just needs a patient home willing to guide her as she grows. Because she’s still so young, Gidget will thrive in a home where someone is around most of the time to help her learn, play, and feel secure. A fenced yard would be a dream come true for her, giving her space to safely explore and burn off that puppy energy. She would do best in a home with kids 8 and older who understand how to be gentle with a small pup. Gidget isn’t just cute — she’s the kind of companion who will grow into your little shadow, your cuddle buddy, and your daily source of happiness. If you’ve been waiting for that one special puppy who will steal your heart and never give it back… Gidget might be the one.
