Hi, my name is Maggie, and I am looking for my forever home! My current caregivers describe me as friendly and very bouncy. I am housetrained and do great when on my own at home. I love other dogs, but can be dominant, so I may need a patient canine housemate. I am friendly with cats, but I also think they're fun to chase. I have not lived with kids, but my brief encounters with them have been positive, and my gentle, friendly nature make me a good candidate for a family home. I am also deaf, but I don't let that slow me down at all! Those close to me said, "Maggie is a very sweet dog with a very gentle disposition. She loves car rides and she loves to cuddle. She likes to be near people and likes to sit with you. She is deaf, but that doesn’t seem to stop her." He was dropped on the side of the road about 1 1/2 years ago. He is aprox. 3 years old now. I was going to take him to the pound but decided to keep him. He is a happy dog full of energy and a lot of personality. He listens, he is house trained, and he loves being close to people. He's also very eager to ride in anything that moves. He'd jump on a motorcycle if he could. He is very territorial and will bark when he hears an "intruder" outside. He does not do well with new dogs in/or around his "home" but seems to do fine with female dogs. He is not good with cats.

She loves running around with toys, exploring her surroundings, and enjoying the company of other dogs. She has a naturally friendly personality and seems to adore just about everyone she meets.   Once she’s done playing, Ginger turns into a total cuddle bug. She loves being held, petted, and close to her people. She’s the kind of puppy who wants to be right where the love is.   She is currently learning pad training and is doing her best, though she still has the occasional accident as she continues to learn. Like all young puppies, she just needs consistency, patience, and guidance.   Her parents are a Boston Terrier mix and a Wheaten Terrier, both around 30 pounds, so she is expected to remain a small-to-medium sized companion.   Because she is still so young, Ginger needs a home where someone is around most of the time to help her grow, train, and feel secure. A fenced yard would be a big bonus so she can safely burn off puppy energy.
