Story
Okay… look how handsome this boy is! His name truly fits him. Prince carries himself with a gentle, quiet charm that wins you over the moment he feels safe. Prince came to us after life at home became a little hectic. He was shy at first, but with patience and kindness he has absolutely bloomed into a sweet, happy boy. He may need a moment to warm up to new people, but once he does, you’ll see his soft, affectionate side shine. Prince has medium energy — he enjoys gentle pets, nice walks, and fun enrichment activities. He’ll be happiest with regular exercise and playtime, but he’s not an over-the-top, high-energy guy. He’s more of a steady, easygoing companion. He appears to have great manners! Prince seems potty trained, walks well on leash, and knows the cues “sit” and “down.” We were told he doesn’t love being crated, but he has adapted well to his kennel here. With continued positive reinforcement, we anticipate he’ll grow even more comfortable. Previously, his caregiver mentioned he didn’t always get along with other male dogs. Since being neutered, we have not observed any reactivity in the shelter. That said, adopters should be mindful of this so we can set him up for success. We’re always happy to arrange a dog meet-and-greet prior to adoption if needed. Prince has truly come into his own, and it’s been such a joy watching him grow more confident every day. He’s a loving, loyal boy who’s ready to find a calm, caring home where he can keep shining.

Story
Laona is a bright, sensitive 1+‑year‑old spayed Boxer who’s looking for a human partner who understands that confidence is something you build together. Laona is spirited, observant, and eager to connect with her people. With her humans, she’s warm and goofy in that classic Boxer way—full-body wiggles, soulful eyes, and a heart that wants to belong. Laona is particular about her dog friends. She’s not a “dog park” girl and prefers slow introductions and thoughtful interactions. With the right match, she can coexist peacefully. One lovely bonus: she has successfully lived with cats, showing she can share her space respectfully when the environment is well‑managed.

Story
Meet FP – a cool little dude with a big personality! FP may be short in stature, but he’s overflowing with charm, wiggles, and happiness. This fun-sized boy is more than ready to trade shelter life for a home filled with love, cozy cuddles, and plenty of stuffies to call his own. FP is a medium-energy pup who will thrive with a positive outlet for his energy—walks, playtime, and adventures with his people. One of his absolute favorite things in the world is stuffed toys. While they may not survive long in his care, we can’t resist letting him pick out a new stuffy from the toy bin each day. It makes him so happy! Despite spending the last three months in the shelter, FP has wonderful manners. He walks beautifully on leash, already knows the cues “sit” and “down,” and appears to be potty trained. He’s a smart boy who clearly wants to do the right thing. FP will just need a little time and patience to adjust once he gets home. After spending a few months in the shelter, he may need some grace while he learns his new routine and settles into family life. The best part about FP? His personality. He’s cheerful, wiggly, and loves everyone he meets. We haven’t seen a shy bone in his body! In his previous home he lived with other dogs, and here at the shelter he has shown a friendly, easygoing attitude when he sees them. We can always provide a dog meet and greet prior to adopting to ensure a perfect match! We absolutely adore FP and know that once you meet him, you’ll fall in love too. If you’re looking for a happy, fun companion who will greet you with wiggles and excitement every day, FP might just be your perfect match.
