I’m a handsome, lovable guy with a big heart and an even bigger cuddle side. I absolutely love getting attention from my people and will happily soak up all the pets and snuggles you can give. I’ll be honest — I can be a little stubborn sometimes, but that’s just part of my charm. I already know my basic commands and I’ve been working hard on my leash manners. I can still be pretty strong on leash at times, so I’ll need someone who can continue helping me with my training and keep me on the right track. I can also be a bit selective with other dogs, though I’ve shown that I tend to do better with female dogs. Because of that, slow introductions and understanding my boundaries are important for me to feel comfortable and confident. I also have some dental issues that require surgery to help get my mouth feeling its best. The wonderful team at the shelter is working hard to raise funds so I can receive the dental care I need. Despite this, I never let it stop me from being my happy, affectionate self, and I can't wait to feel even better once my treatment is complete. Oh, and one more thing… I’ve been known to be a little bit of an escape artist! I’m a smart boy who likes to explore, so I’ll need a secure yard and a family who will keep a close eye on me. I’m up to date on all my vaccines, neutered, and microchipped, so I’m ready to pack my bags and meet my new best friend.

Hi, I’m Kane! I’m a small puppy with a huge heart and an even bigger love for snacks. Seriously — if treats are involved, I’m ready to learn anything! I absolutely love training and learning new things, even if my puppy excitement sometimes gets the best of me. Right now, I’m working on my basic commands and already know “sit” and “wait.” I’m still learning how to keep my excitement under control during training, but as I grow up, I’ve been getting better every day. I also still use my little puppy teeth to nip sometimes, but I’m working really hard on learning better manners. I’m a super social little guy and would probably do really well in a home with another dog buddy to play, learn, and grow up with. I haven’t been tested with cats just yet, so my humans aren’t quite sure how I feel about them. One of my favorite things in the whole world is cuddling. I’m a total snuggle bug and will happily melt right into you after a long day. Whether it’s curling up on the couch or snuggling in for bedtime, I just love being close to my people. I’m neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all my vaccines, so I’m all ready to find my forever family. If you’re looking for a sweet, goofy puppy who will make you laugh, keep you company, and shower you with love, I might just be your perfect match!
