Story
HIDDEN GEMThis nervous Nelly is looking for a home with an experienced owner who is also very patient. She requires an adult only home that is a quieter environment but with a lot of active structure like enrichment and walks. She showed us she was initially fearful but then warms up and is full of beans. She can startle and still be unsure of new things in her environment. She is a giant puppy at heart and her time in shelter has been too long. Our behaviour team is actively working with this girl to help her work through her puppy behaviours like mouthing, jumping up as well as helping her with basic cues. A private consult or group class will be needed with her adoption. Lately this girl has been very active and high energy, but she has been cooped up as we were focusing on her recovery from surgery to fix her cherry eyes. This girl is about 25 kg or 55 lbs and still growing! Do you think you are her match?

Story
Chato is a 5-year-old friendly and playful sweetie ready for a forever family. He will give kisses to anyone wanting to take them. He loves to go on walks, run in a yard, roll around in grass, and play tug-of-war. He does well on a leash, once his initial excitement subsides. Chato is incredibly smart, will sit for treats without being asked, and is eager to please. He would really enjoy a bigger canine sibling or active human to play with.
