Story
Oakley is a young boy who has made so much positive progress after finding himself abandoned on a farm. First and foremost, he loves to be outdoors whether that be to just give the air a good sniff or have a run around, he enjoys both equally. He is calm overall especially given his age, easygoing, and becomes very attached to those caring for him quite quickly; appearing happiest if he can simply be in your company. Oakley has experienced some separation anxiety that could also be referred to as fear of missing out, we’re not certain at this point if that is simply a result of having been abandoned or something else at play. He has done fantastic with training, food rewards have been very motivating for him and although he initially had some guarding issues they have been resolved with proper conditioning. He has been introduced to other dogs and does require proper introductions to them but with that he is really good and very respectful of boundaries. As far as cats are concerned, Oakley will require extra training in this respect as their fast movements can/do excite him at present so he’s still learning on this front. Like most pups, he loves his food and chew toys and is just such a sweet little guy to have around. He will need a person/s willing to be patient with him as he continues to learn and understand that he’s now safe. His Must Haves: • A home that has the time to give lots of attention and love • A family committed to ongoing training • Older children only please (10+) To apply, please visit www.furballforce.org/oakley
