Story
We adopted Frankie from a rescue at 8 weeks old. During her first year, she was a sweet, loving dog who bonded quickly with our older dog, was gentle with our kids (our youngest was 7), and showed curiosity around other dogs. Around age one, Frankie began showing aggression toward other dogs. She started play-attacking our older dog and trying to get through our fence when dogs passed by. As her behavior escalated, we hired a trainer, reinforced our fence, worked with our vet to prescribe Prozac, and carefully managed her walking routes. Frankie has never shown aggression toward people, but she did bite me twice when I intervened between her and another dog. She has also gone after smaller dogs a number of times. This has been a heartbreaking decision, but we are looking to rehome Frankie. In a calm environment, with the proper management and training, she is truly a sweet dog. Frankie should go to a home with no other animals or children.

She is a soft, kind-hearted soul who forms deep bonds with her people and will be a loyal companion to those willing to give her the time and patience she deserves.This lovely lady has a mellow, easygoing nature and is happiest when she’s relaxing by your side or soaking up the sunshine out in the yard. Miss Indie was adopted from our shelter a couple of years ago, and she has recently found her way back to us through absolutely no fault of her own when her adopter experienced some health issues and could no longer care for her.Indie is an active, energetic, and playful dog who absolutely loves people. She’s outgoing, affectionate, and happiest when she’s spending time with her humans. She has a really goofy personality and loves getting any chance she can to romp and play.
