Orion is a total heart-stealer and an instant fan favorite. With his soft white fur, calm yet playful temperament, and love for snuggling, he’s the perfect mix of cuddly and fun. He enjoys playtime but is just as happy curling up close for a nap. Orion would be a dream companion for someone looking for a sweet, affectionate puppy. This puppy was rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas with their mom when only 3 weeks old. He will be available to go home after 2/11. Meet and greets are by appointment only. Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free pet insurance. We are not affiliated with MetLife pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect). Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets. The dogs in our care are fostered in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico. While all dogs are picked up during our scheduled times, sometimes transport dates change due to unforeseen circumstances. My parents aquired Callie when she was 3 years old from a friend who was moving. She is approximately 13-15 years old now. She is a loving and gentle house dog. She is mild tempered, house trained, obedient and rarely barks. She grew up with another dog in the household which has since passed away. She is an old dog that has hip dysplasia and some hearing loss. She has grown old with her owners who now have to move to a nursing home that does not allow large dogs. We are looking for a home where she will be loved and gently cared for in her last years. She has been an absolute gem around family and children and we are sad to have to let her go.
