Story
Hey! Hi! Hello! You are clearly here to meet me. First things first, I'm a small beefcake of a boy with a LOT of energy. Like... a lot. I could go for a hike and explore some trails and would take a quick power nap before it is time for zoomies. So if you have some ground that you need to cover I will absolutely be your guy. Got dogs who are looking for a wrestling companion? That's great! Older kids who want a friend to run around with? EVEN BETTER. (I might knock the lil guys over) I'm always down for friends, even if they are your friends first. I do tend to stare longingly once our extra friends have left though. I just want them to stay longer and play more and be with us forever! I'm the type of dog that is going to bond very strongly with his people, probably even one person in specific. Once you're in my circle, you're in for life. So, if you're looking for an incredibly loyal guy who can run around, explore, and even maybe be a brewery dog once I get my manners perfected, I'm the guy for you. Now, why don't you take me home and we go do something fun? Sitting still is overrated anyways. We do not see Adopt-a-Pet inquiries! Please visit our website www.grandrivershumane.org to fill out an adoption application and learn more about our upcoming adoption event locations.

Story
Gorda is a very nice, happy dog! She loves to play fetch with her favorite ball. She likes to cuddle, she is potty trained, she is not much of a barker, she only barks when someone is nearby at the house so she is a great protector. Never has bit anybody! Great with kids! She can look scary to some people but she’s actually really friendly to everyone. (Gorda does not get along with other female dogs) she is good with male dogs. Gorda has not had her annual shots, she gets seen by the all pets center vet. Other than that gorda is a great dog, she’s very easy to take care of. We hope someone can give her as much attention and love that she deserves.

Story
This is my buddy Bruno. He is a Pit, Corgi, Boston mix. He is really sweet and a cuddler. He is obedience trained (Sit, lay down, Stay, etc.); however, he likes to exercise his free will from time to time. He does use his big boy voice, but he is all talk. He has been around babies his whole life and has always been sweet around them, but he is getting older, so older kids would probably be ideal. Bruno is a good boy with a little bit of baggage. He was in a fight years back that tore him up pretty good. Since then, he has been a little anxious. He does well with other dogs and people, once acquainted. Bruno really wants to be with his people, and our life just doesn't allow that anymore. I am truly heartbroken to have to rehome him, but it is what is best for him.

Story
Hi there, I’m Cypher! A big, strong, handsome guy with a growing heart that’s learned how to feel safe again.I’m about 4 years old, built like an athlete, and yes… I know how impressive my muscles are. But underneath all that strength is a dog who has come a very long way. Learning to trust new people hasn’t always been easy for me, but with patience, kindness, and consistency, I’ve discovered something amazing, I actually like letting my guard down. And guess what? I have an inner puppy that’s finally getting his moment to shine. One of my absolute favorite things in the world is a good squeaky toy. The louder, the better. They bring out my goofy side and show off my quirky, fun personality that keeps growing every day. I’m still learning how to navigate the world, but I’m working hard! I’m even taking training classes because I really want to be the best boy I can be.I do best as the only animal in the home, where I can soak up all the love, structure, and attention without having to share. I thrive with people who understand that progress doesn’t have to be perfect to be meaningful. I’m proof that patience and love can build something truly special. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with strength, heart, and a personality that keeps unfolding in the best ways than I might just be your guy.Yours truly,Cypher
