Hi, I'm Valerie! I came to Grand Rivers when it was discovered I was pregnant at the County Shelter after a serious bout of mange. My journey hasnt been easy but Im so happy to be safe now! After birthing, nursing and raising all of my pups, they are now in their forever homes! Its my turn to find my family :) I'm crate trained, know how to use a doggy door, and enjoy going out for trails and adventures with my family. I do well with other dogs with proper introductions, and I'm also okay with catssometimes I even seem to think I am one! I'm a smart girl who really wants to please my humans, but I'm working on a few things like leash training and confidence. If you're looking for a loyal, intelligent companion who can go from trail buddy to professional cuddler, I'm ready to be part of your family. We do not see Adopt-a-Pet inquiries! Hello, you are looking at Artemis. He is over a year old. The most friendliest dog you’ll meet. He has high energy and after a long day of play. He’s always down for cuddles.We’ve got Artemis from a family friend and we noticed that he may have some trauma. Especially when it comes to alcohol and men. He has a lot of bark but from what I’ve experienced he’s never had the bite. Recently my 2 year old was attack by a family dog. Since then he has developed a little bit of trauma. He is ok to be around Artemis but when Artemis gets hyped up he tends to get very scared. Looking for a very loving home for Artemis that can give him the time and attention he needs. He would be best in a home with older children as he tends to get jealous when others are getting cuddles and he’s not. He will push anybody out of the way to get some cuddles.
