I did spend most of my life in a home, and I’m very eager to return to the life of couches and cuddles. I may need a refresher on housebreaking as I go back into a home, but I’m so intelligent I should get right back into the swing of things. I do know sit, paw, down, and I’m quick to make new human friends and will hop right into your lap. I’ve also done well with other dogs after a proper introduction. UPDATE:  Scrappy LOVES other dogs and cats.  He is shy of people at first, someone must not have been very nice to him.  He loves to run in the yard.  He will need a fenced in yard.  Scrappy Doo is amazing once he is settled in.  He would require a few play dates to get used to his new surroundings.  We are hoping to find a local adopter so we can schedule playdates with Srappy Doo and make a smooth transition into his new home. A scared wild puppy was the first image we saw of Scrappy Do. We included that photo in his listing, it should be the last picture. He was so defeated. He had been captured by a property owner after his parents had attacked a goat on the farm. Our friends at animal control responded to the goat attack... they saw the parent dogs running away but the property owner had caught Scrappy! He was so upset and dispondent. Our friends at the shelter called us when he came in because they knew our fosters have that special touch!  Foster mom Barbara has been working her magic and he is doing GREAT now! He has a foster sister, Pebbles, who is quite the doggie ambassador. He is learning how to be a puppy and is loving his new life! He is not a very big boy, and is just so stunningly beautiful! He is not YET fixed but will be as soon as he is old enough!  Scrappy is up to date on all shots and is neutered. Scrappy is such a sweet gentle boy.  He is looking for his special someone.  His foster sister Pebbles has been adopted.  He loves other dogs and cats.  He is unsure about people at first.  He just needs that special someone who will understand that while his life did not start out the best they will make sure the rest of his life is filled with love.  He is crate trained.  We actually keep the door to his crate open as he feels secure in there.  He also loves toys and will collect all th toys he finds and take them to his crate.  That is his man cave.   ##1366278##

I`m 50 Scent, and I`ve been waiting for you in da club....da friendship club! I`m VERY attentive to my person and would be your very best friend. I`ve spent time in a foster home, and my foster family reports I`m housebroken, crate trained, and know sit and paw, and I`ll always whip out the tricks when you offer me a little snack (perhaps from the candy shop) or a squeaky toy! After we spend some time together outside in the sunshine, I`m totally content to sploot on the floor next to you while you get work done, and I`ll be ready for cuddles whenever you are. Da friendship club is tight-knit - I much prefer people to everything else, so I would prefer to be the only pet in the home, pretty please. The only other thing you should know about me is that I CAN climb fences, but I really have no desire to as long as you’re with me, so supervised time outside or leashed walks is perfect for me. Adopting me would be like partying like it`s your birthday EVERY DAY! Mic drop. Let`s meet!

A new Dawn is coming....teehee, it`s me! I`m Dawn, a lady who has been through quite a lot, but I haven`t let that stop me from being a joyous friend to all. I arrived to ACAR with a badly dislocated hip, but the medical team helped me through surgery and recovery, and I`m back, baby! I do get around well but do best with respectful dogs who don`t play too rough. I LOVE cozy beds and blankies, and I don`t mind being dressed up in warm sweaters. I keep my kennel clean and tidy, and the staff believes I`m housebroken. I would make a lovely companion for someone looking for a laidback girl to peacefully coexist through this beautiful life with. Let`s meet!

I`m a little guy with mighty big ears, and I`ll lead you to believe I`m a shy little mouse, but I come to life for food. Send a lil food my way and I`ll be eating out of your hand (literally). Thanks to num nums and my staff friends, I`ve really come out of my shell lots and now enjoy going on walks, enjoying a pup cup or ice cream, and even puttering around in a playgroup or two with other dogs.
