He arrived at Orange County Animal Services as a stray on April 6, 2025, and spent two long months in the shelter. During that time, he physically and emotionally declined — losing weight and becoming increasingly shut down. He was placed on the euthanasia list… but thanks to a loving foster, Patrick got his second chance. 💙 About Patrick: Patrick is a fun-loving, food-motivated sweetheart who absolutely adores his toys and bones. Tug-o-war? Yes please. Snuggling by your feet? Absolutely. Even when he’s chewing on something special, he allows his foster mom to take it from him without a fuss — a true sign of trust. Hi there, my name is Abbie, and I can`t wait to rest my adorable, squishy noggin in your lap. I`m a bit of an introvert when you first meet me, but I warm up quickly and will be requesting gentle scratches in no time. While I have my snuggle moments, I can also be independent and don`t mind exploring on my own or curling up with a nice chew toy. I did live in a home previously but landed at ACAR due to no fault of my own. My family reported I was housebroken and lived with kids and other dogs. I do enjoy the company of other canines, just please don`t ask me to share my snacks with them (sharing is not caring, no sirree). I also know I`m not a fan of kitties, but with a kind person, I should fit into just about any home. Let`s meet soon!
