We adopted Emma as a rescue at 11 weeks of age. She has been taught good house manners and has been through one month of professional training at age 6 months. She is now 16 months old and is a joy to have around. She is extremely friendly, obedient and non-aggressive. She is completely housebroken, sleeps in her own bed and does not jump on the furniture. She will not try to take food off the table, your plate, or your hand. You can take her food away without fear that she will growl or snap at you. She is a great watch dog and will stop barking when told. She gets along with cats and other dogs. She loves children, but her wagging tail can hurt little bodies! We made the hard decision to rehome her due to my husband's recent health issues and our limited energy! We hope to find a home with younger owners with more energy to play with her and ideally will continue to enforce the good behaviors that we worked so hard to instill in her. 10 months of heartworm meds and cot go with her.

This fella was found in the woods at about 3 mo old...he was feral and scared! He wouldn't let anyone touch him and every sound or movement sent him packing! After months of hard work he has learned to trust a little bit. He knows his name, sit, and come. New people and strange sounds still scare him, but with a bit of patience he warms up and simply wants to play or snuggle in your lap!

Hi, I’m Juvi, a 37-pound girl who came to the shelter as a stray, and I’m as friendly, gentle, and sweet as they come. I love people, enjoy being social, and I’m known for my happy smile that shows just how joyful I am. I walk nicely on a leash and really enjoy getting out and about. When it comes to other dogs I can sometimes have a bit too much energy, so I’ll need to meet any potential dog siblings first to make sure we’re a good fit. Plus, I`m crate trained and do great when riding in the car. I may need a little help learning some manners, but with structure, love, and guidance, I’m going to shine in a home that’s ready to give me the care and affection I deserve.

Marlin is a 50-pound boy with a big smile who came to the shelter as a stray and has been winning hearts ever since. He walks nicely on a leash, loves people, and has a gentle, easygoing nature that makes him a joy to be around. Marlin is calm, go-with-the-flow, and very treat motivated—perfect for continued training. He loves playing with a ball and enjoys his toys, too. Marlin would like to meet any potential dog siblings before heading home and is looking for a loving forever family to call his own.

Hi, I'm Bagel! From my point of view, life is pretty great. I’m proud to say I’m fully potty trained and crate trained, and I don’t chew up things I’m not supposed to. I can be a little timid when I first meet someone new, but it doesn’t take long before I’m leaning in for cuddles or bouncing around ready to play. I love people and other dogs, and I listen really well—sit, shake, and stay are kind of my specialties. Walks are one of my favorite things, and I do wonderfully on a leash. I’m comfortable being left alone when needed, but I’d be just as happy in a busy home with a big family to love. Mostly, I’m just looking for someone who wants a sweet, playful companion to stick by their side.
