Story
Sarah’s owner passed away on October 19, 2026. She needs a new home as soon as possible. Sarah is a Boxer-Mix and is multiple shades of blended brown. She was acquired as a new-born and is approximately six years old. She also has had only one owner. Although she can be timid and shy, she warms up to most who will spend time with her. She will make a wonderful pet with most any age owner.

Meet Petey. He’s just… Petey. 🖤🤍Not in a hurry. Not checking his calendar. Petey operates on Petey Standard Time, and his priorities are simple: good company, a comfortable spot, and as little chaos as possible. He’s a good hang-around buddy who gets along well with other calm dogs. Cats, however, get his attention in a very different way. He will focus on chasing them, so he needs a home where he won’t share space with cats.Petey returned to the shelter after his owner’s living situation changed. He’s reportedly good with people of all ages and appears to have some house-training experience, though he may need a refresher and a consistent routine after so much time in a kennel. Now, being laid-back doesn’t mean he’s mastered his manners. On a leash, Petey is less “leisurely stroll” and more “bulldozer with somewhere to be.” He pulls strongly and needs someone who can safely manage him while working on polite leash walking. His recall also needs practice…he may hear your invitation, but he hasn’t necessarily accepted it yet. 😂Petey is looking for someone who appreciates his easygoing company and will patiently help him with the skills he’s still learning. Come meet him. He may be on his own time, but he’s spent enough of it waiting for a home.

Story
Little Cherry is the smallest of her litter, weighing just a few pounds less than each of her brothers. She is a very shy girl and needs someone that is able to spend time with her to really bring her out of her shell. She's very sweet and enjoys attention when she gets brave enough to come up to you. She does a little shy crawl when approaching people and does pee a little out of fear/submission. She is also recovering from a flea infestation and her hair is coming back in the places she lost it. She is on the 2nd cycle of dewormer and has been healthy otherwise. Please reach out to foster or adopt Cherry. Even some time in a home with people she can learn to trust will set her up for success with a forever family later.

Story
Meet Forest! Forest is a happy puppy who wants all the loves. He doesn't meet a stranger and absolutely adores all of the attention he can get. He has discovered that he also loves to chase the water during kennel cleaning time as well. Forest needs what all puppies need- someone to play with and learn good manners from. His mom has taught him to bark at cats but he is young enough to fix that. He was infested with fleas upon entry to the shelter and as a result had some hair loss. He is flea free and on his 2nd cycle of dewormer. His hair is coming back in and otherwise he is a healthy puppy. Please reach out to meet Forest if you are interested in fostering or adopting him into your home.
