Rana #22955 is a white female Boxer and Pit Bull Terrier mix. She is approximately 1 year, 6 months old. She weighs 44.5 lbs. She has not been spayed. She was picked up stray by an animal control officer on 5/5/26; owner unknown. Stray-hold expires on 5/8/26 at 1:00 PM. Meds: 5/5/26 bordetella/parainfluenza, flea spray; 5/7/26 heartworm negative, DAPPv, Frontline Plus Meet sweet Rana — a 1½-year-old Boxer and Pit Bull Terrier mix with a heart as big as her adorable puppy-dog eyes! At a perfect medium size and 44.5 lbs, she’s compact enough for couch cuddles but still ready for all the fun adventures life has to offer. This silly, playful girl seems to think every day is a chance to make new friends and show off her goofy charm. She appears friendly, well socialized, and happy to spend time with people. She’s also comfortable walking on a leash, which means she’s already prepared for neighborhood strolls, park sniffing expeditions, and dramatic “look how cute I am” pauses along the way. With her cute underbite, she has the kind of face that can turn a bad day around in seconds — especially when she gives you her slightly goofy grin and curious head tilt. She’s still a young dog, so she has lots of playful energy and would love a family ready for fun, affection, and a little laughter. She does have some mild skin irritation that may need a little extra care, but she’s handling it like a champ and is more focused on getting attention and love from her humans.

Mostly Mutts rescued me from animal control, and I am so grateful for their love and care as I wait for my new family to find me. I’m ready to meet them and start the good life, so – don’t wait – come let me rescue you! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and liked them, so if you have a nice dog at home that would like a puppy friend, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I’m a sweet, very playful boy who’s friendly, happy, active, fun, and smart! Sometimes the volunteers take me to the play yard in addition to my walks so I can run off some of my extra energy. I was well behaved for my shelter bath and ear cleaning and seem to be a pretty good listener, too. I’ve even heard the volunteers call me “a wonderful pup,” and that sure makes me happy! / Energy level: 6-8, so I’ll want a family that will be active with me. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have already mastered the ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘come’, ‘drop it’ and ‘place’ commands and I look forward to learning more. Capturing toys and running around in the play yard are two of my favorite things. I would love a fenced yard in my new home where we can do just that together! An affectionate guy, I also love to cuddle - so let’s make time for that between my play sessions, okay? / I don’t like my collar being grabbed and I did snap at someone who did that before they knew it. Roger is a real looker and lover. He is very playful. He would do best with a fenced yard. Not sure how he is with cats. Their mom, Karen, is a beautiful girl that found herself and her babies heading to Clayton County Animal Control after being picked up as strays in a field. Roger is a very sweet playful dog. A fenced in yard is highly recommended especially if you have other dogs that enjoy playing or sunning outside. Please also check out my available brother Kevin and sister Noelle that are still looking for a forever home. Roger has Luxating Patella issues in both back knees. Our vet recommended that we re-check him in 2 to 3 months (went to vet in August) since his growth platelets aren't closed. ##1793403##
