This sweet, shy boy might take a little time to warm up, but once he does, he’s an affectionate, playful baby who just wants to be loved. Diesel is smart, active, and eager to learn... he just needs someone patient and kind to help him build confidence and continue his training. He enjoys the company of other dogs and would love a home where he can have a canine friend to play with and learn from. Diesel is also part of our Paws Forward Program, which means his adopter will receive 3 free training sessions with Janette from Kind K9s to help him start off on the right paw! Betsy is a FUN dog who loves to be with other dogs, maternal and bouncy. She is not aggressive or bossy but does have a bark and her terrier DNA comes out when meeting new smaller dogs. She has spent most of her time with bigger dogs and enjoys being the 'shortie' of the playgroup. Betsy is not food motivated, nibbles through the day, but has managed to become a bit fluffy. 50 lb dog now, she loves car rides, water! and sunbathing. Betsy is spayed, up to date on vaccines and very health - a bit fluffy as she has matured, now 4 years old. Her breed had been a guess until now! a donated DNA test revealed the classic Houston mutt mix of American Pit Bull Terrier, Lab, Boxer, German Shepherd, Shar Pei, Chow Chow. She is a short dog with medium double coat and a sharp mind. Unfortunately, due to my new job schedule I am looking to rehome my boy, Spike. He’s a 3 year old 55 pound Lab/Boxer/Am Staffordshire terrier mix. He’s neutered, potty trained, and listens well indoors. He loves to play and cuddle. He’s good with other animals, he’s lived with cats and been around dogs before. Spike is also a little shy and doesn’t like loud noises. He’s had all his shots and vaccines. I give him heartguard every month. He’s been very well taken care of. He was last seen at the vet in May. We just moved here from New Jersey a few months ago, so his main vet was at Wayne Animal Hospital in New Jersey and I’ve tried everything to make accommodations for him with my new schedule here in Illinois. $50 rehoming fee just to show you can pay for his food for the month (which I will be giving you a supply of as well as his toys, bed, and treats.)
