Story
Draco is a very lovable and easily trainable puppy, I honestly have no idea on breed or age. We found him dumped on a back road in September, my best guesses are that he is around a year old and a boxer mix. We are unable to keep him due to the town ordinance of where we just moved to, we are only allowed to have 5 pets. He is fixed and house broken as well, mostly kennel trained and listens very well. He is a very good dog, just has some puppy in him still where he likes to chew on things with stuffing in it. He is fed everyday and not malnourished, just runs around a lot with a lot of energy. Gets along with all dogs, and extremely loving

Please get back to us right away when we call or email regarding an application so that we can quickly connect using the process below: Select a pet and submit an online adoption survey. A PCH! adoption counselor will contact potential adopters within three business days (PCH! cannot guarantee any pet's availability, but we make every effort to accommodate adopters with a reply and possible alternative suggestions). An adoption counselor and client will then have a conversation to answer questions, discuss any medical needs for the pet and determine the suitability of a match (if necessary, we may opt to put adopters in touch with foster parents). After a match is made, clients will be asked to sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee online through our secure payment system *Please see our modified no-risk return policy. (below) The PCH! adoption counselor will then set up a specific appointment time and location. Adopters should bring a pet carrier and/or a leash to pick up and their ID. Adult pets will be wearing a collar. It is important that clients arrive on time, neither early nor late. Cats and kittens are required to leave in a pet carrier. If your adoption is scheduled at Pet Central Helps!: Upon arrival inside the Crossroads Center complex (360 Wylie Drive), look for the black Pet Central Helps! semi-trailer, which is right outside of our facility (Suite 720). Park in the parking lot and enter the facility. A PCH! representative will greet you and show you to the adoption room. Your new pet will be handed to you. We will take a "Happy Adoption Day” photo with your pet and family. If your adoption is scheduled at PetSmart – Bloomington, IL: Park in the PetSmart (1606 E. Empire St.) Parking lot and enter the store. We will be set up just inside the store entrance. Let us know you are here to pick up your pet! A PCH! representative will confirm your information and hand you your pet. We will take a "Happy Adoption Day” photo with your pet and family. If your adoption is scheduled at the Cat’s Meow Cafe: Navigate to PetSmart, park in the parking lot and enter the store. Locate a PCH! Representative at our adoption table and let them know you are picking up a Cat Cafe Cat. You will sign your final contract with your counselor and snap a picture of the completed screen. Head to the Cat’s Meow Cafe at 507 N. Hershey Rd and provide them with the snapshot of your final contract. They will get your cat and take a “Happy Adoption Day” photo with your pet and family. PCH! supports a 30-day no-fault return policy in which adopters are given the opportunity to find a better match. If we cannot provide advice/tools to keep a pet in the home we offer these options: Exchange for a pet that may be a better match** Receive a refund minus a $40 processing fee** With this approach, we can often turn mismatches into opportunities! Story
Named after one of the world's most famous volcanoes, Krakatoa has a personality that's just waiting to erupt... in the best way possible. When you first meet her, Krakatoa can be a little shy and reserved. She likes to take a moment to figure out new people and new situations. But once she feels safe and comfortable, it's like a volcano coming to life. Her playful, goofy personality bursts onto the scene, and you'll quickly see what a fun-loving girl she really is. Krakatoa is dog-friendly and loves spending time with canine companions. She's also a big fan of treats, making her eager to learn and easy to motivate. Toss a toy or a tennis ball, and she's ready for a game of fetch. Between play sessions, you'll often hear her adorable little snorts, one of her many charming quirks that makes everyone smile. With the perfect mix of sweetness, playfulness, and personality, Krakatoa is looking for someone willing to give her the time she needs to come out of her shell. Once she does, you'll discover a loyal, entertaining companion whose heart is every bit as big as her name. If you're looking for a dog who starts as a quiet spark and blossoms into an explosion of love, laughter, and adventure, Krakatoa is ready to light up your life.
