It also covers vaccines, fecal, and any medical attention the animal required while in our care.) An $80.00 good-faith deposit will be collected at the time of adoption. (If paying this fee by check, the check will be cashed.) This added spay/neuter step will assist in stopping the tide of animals that end up in shelters. Once the spay/neuter has been completed, take or mail proof of surgery to the Humane Society of Calloway County, 607 Poplar St. (in the Weaks Center), Murray, KY 42071. Your $80.00 deposit will be reimbursed, typically within one week. We currently cannot break bills or provide change. If paying cash, please bring the $60 and $80 as separate payments. Thank you!

The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30-4 and is closed daily for lunch from 12:30-1. Adoptions are done on a first come first serve basis for owner releases.
