Story
Woods is 6.5, 92lb family dog who has been deeply loved since rescued at 4 months old. He is healthy, vaccinated, affectionate, and incredibly devoted to his people. I am only rehoming him because circumstances with my landlords who’s requiring me to rehome him. Woods needs an experienced adult that understands large, strong dogs and will advocate for his space. He does not do well with strangers approaching/reaching toward him quickly and needs calm, appropriate introductions. He has 1 bite incident involving a neighbor’s child during an unusually high-arousal situation involving food; he immediately disengaged and did not injure the child. Full details will be disclosed. His vet and behavior professional do not recommend behavioral euthanasia. He does well with small dogs but not large male dogs; no cats. A fenced yard is strongly preferred. We’ll continue paying for his food/care and would love to remain in his life. Woods deserves someone who will love him as much as we do!

Hi! I’m Chops. I have liked most dogs I have met and I am cat friendly. I can be fearful of strangers and take a little time to warm up. Treats and sweet talk is the way to my heart. <3 I am house broken. My favorite toys are balls! Sometimes I enjoy carrying a ball around with me. I take treats very gently. I can sit on command. I’m a pretty average dog, but I am slowly starting to not do well in the shelter. It can be a stressful place and it’s just not a home here. This place gives me anxiety. :( Please give me a chance and take me to my fur-ever home!

Stark is an 8 year old boxer/hound mix. He is great with kids and does well with other dogs and cats. He’s a sweet dog who loves to snuggle and spend time with people. We are no longer able to give him the exercise and attention he needs and would love to see him go to a home where he would thrive. He is also crate-trained.
