Meet Stella Stella is a one-year-old Boxer mix weighing approximately 42 pounds. She is a sweet, affectionate, and playful dog with a fun-loving personality. Stella is both energetic and cuddly, enjoying active playtime as well as quiet moments snuggled up with her people. Stella is a quiet and gentle dog who gets along very well with other dogs. She currently enjoys playing with her Border Collie foster sister and her Chihuahua foster brother. She also loves going for walks and is becoming more confident and comfortable on a leash each day. Stella would do best in a home with a safe, secure fenced yard, which will give her the space to play and help her feel secure. She would thrive in an active household that can provide regular exercise and opportunities for play. Stella is crate trained, appears to be potty trained, and does well with children. Axel is wonderful with just about everyone he meets. He’s great with dogs, cats, kids, chickens, and cows. At adoption events he’s always a crowd favorite. He does amazing in public, enjoys going out, and everyone who meets him falls in love with him. While Axel may be considered a senior, he is far from a couch potato. His age does not define him, and he needs a semi active family to match his energy. He enjoys walks, loves running, hiking, and exploring, and is fantastic when out and about. Axel often goes to softball games with his foster and does great in stores. This boy still has so much life left and deserves a home that will enjoy adventures with him. Axel bonds deeply with his person and would prefer a woman. He’s a total ladies’ man. Once he chooses you, he plans to be by your side at all times. He does best with children 7+ who understand giving dogs space and won’t be in his face. Axel prefers calmer dogs that will let him do his own thing. He’s perfectly happy napping and relaxing without other dogs bothering him. He is fully potty trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and is non destructive. Axel does not do well in a kennel and doesn’t need one. He prefers the comfort of your bed when you’re away and simply wants to be close to his person. He is vocal and not shy about telling you when he wants attention, affection, or a snack. His biggest enemy is a baby gate that dares to keep him away from you. Axel is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. He is located in Richmond, KY and requires a fenced in yard.
