Story
Meet Bodie, a 2-year-old Boxer mix with a heart as big as his couch potato tendencies. Bodie is the epitome of a laid-back, introvert pup who prefers snuggles and snoozes over endless playtime. Bodie truly shines in a peaceful setting with minimal action. His ideal day involves lounging on the couch, soaking up affection, and enjoying some quiet time. While he's not the best match for smaller or active dogs due to his nervousness, Bodie is completely at ease with people of all ages, especially young kids who shower him with attention.Busy and loud environments can make Bodie a bit nervous and less responsive, but he remains composed and observant. Sudden noises also trigger his anxiety, but he's learning to cope better and even indulges in playful zoomies from time to time. While Bodie doesn't like to be outdoors all the time, he will happily relax in the shade and occasionally explore the yard at his own pace.In summary, Bodie is a gentle soul who thrives in a tranquil and loving home where he can be his true introvert self, cherished for his affectionate nature and quiet companionship. Bodie is currently in foster care outside of the shelter. Story
Swiper is a female Boxer/bull terrrier mix. She was born aroung 05/2011. Swiper was so desperate to be part of a family, she dug her way into someone's yard. Yes, I said in, not out! Lucky for Swiper, she dug her way into a rescue worker's back yard. We tried to find Swiper's owners, but no one claimed her; and we were not surprised. Swiper might be a bit shy at first, but she warms up very quickly when she learns you are friend and not foe. Swiper has tested negative for heartworms, has been brought up to date on shots, is spayed and microchipped. Swiper does well with other dogs, cats, and children. Will you be Swiper's new family that she has been frantically searching for?
