Meet Koda — a playful, energetic pup with a huge heart!Koda is always ready for fun and loves to play with other dogs. He never makes the first aggressive move — he just runs up excitedly, assuming everyone wants to be his friend. Sometimes other dogs misunderstand his enthusiasm, but his intentions are always playful.He doesn’t mind being kenneled, but what he really wants is attention and inclusion. Let him lay on the bed with you (even if he’s a little dirty and sheds), and he’s completely happy. He also must have a chew bone at all times — he’s obsessed in the cutest way and grabs his bone whenever he gets excited.Koda is fully house-trained and will whimper by your bed if he needs to go out — even overnight. However, he does struggle with separation anxiety. When left alone, he may chew shoes, baseboards, or get into the trash. He also needs leash training, as he currently thinks the leash is a tug toy.Koda would thrive with an active, patient owner who can give him attention and help him build confidence when alone. In return, you’ll get a loyal, loving, fun companion who just wants to be part of the family.Koda is currently in foster care outside of the shelter. Do you have love to give? My name is Rosie. I am six years old but still look like a puppy. I was the smallest in my litter and I never grew as big as my siblings. Even though I am little, it's never bothered me and I am still very healthy. I am glad to be healthy so I can play fetch for a looooong time everyday. I love deeply and am devoted to my people. When I was a puppy I was attacked by another dog, so I don't play with other dogs. Other then that I can get along with anyone. If you are a people person, we will get along great because I am a people Dog! I am a wiggly playful gal but I am gentle as a lamb and extremely paictient with small children. I need a new home. My family who loves me dearly cannot keep me. If you are a person or family who has time, love to give and wants to receive it back ten fold, please reach out! I love you already!
