Story
Available to Adopt – Roscoe Current Location – near Cleveland OH Ladies, are you tired of being let down in life? Are you ready to settle down and enjoy the finer things in life? Maybe it is time to start looking for an older man? Look no further than this silver fox right here! Roscoe is the epitome of a gentleman. He follows you everywhere to make sure you are safe and that there are no creepers on your tail. He is a man not afraid to show affection and is more than willing to spend the night in cuddling. You will never feel pressured to have to be dolled up all the time as Roscoe thinks you are beautiful no matter what! While he understands that you have to leave as he can’t be the official bread-winner for the family, he does take his job seriously and will gallantly stand guard by the window awaiting your return. The house will be just as you left it with him on duty! For those days where you are feeling energetic and want to get out, Roscoe will gladly join you for a stroll. As a gentleman, he takes his job of protecting you seriously, so when encountering new people and other animals on walks he needs a little structure and correction. He is old-fashioned in that he enjoys just getting in the car and going for a ride. Due to his age, he has matured, but being mature does not mean he lacks energy! This dapper dude does have one childish whim that has followed him through his years, and that is that he LOVES toys. He enjoys carrying them, sleeping with them, and showing them off to people. We can’t fault him for his whimsical side though as it is an adorable trait! So ladies… do you think you are ready for an older man to join your life? Are you ready for that perfect partner? Are you ready to stop trying with those crazy youngsters who are afraid to commit and finally settle down with the man of your dreams? If the answer is YES, apply to adopt Roscoe today! Story
Available to Adopt - Samson Current location - Near Chicago Best Suited as being the only dog in the home. Needs an adopter willing to continue to work on his separation anxiety. Like his namesake, Samson tries to be a confident guy. But, he really craves human companionship. And can we talk about his crazy ears, LOL...At 6 years old, he knows what he likes and is out to find his perfect home. He is a low key and well behaved boy as long as his people are nearby. He is known to be an affectionate and playful boy - he loves his squeaky pig and hippo! Of course he's fully house trained. He was in our care once before. In his previous home, he was acting out against the resident dogs. While we are not certain, we do strongly believe this was due to his being in pain. Samson had a torn ACL, which we have since had repaired and he is recovering quite well. He enjoys going for walks and is very good on leash. He is working to improve his endurance. This is helping him to lose a little extra weight he needed to shed. He's working on getting his "summer body" back. We would recommend that Samson stay on a joint supplement going forward, but these are pretty inexpensive. In his previous home, Samson lived with children and reportedly did well. He really loves people in general, the more the merrier. He would prefer an adopter willing to continue working on his separation anxiety. Left to his own devices, he can have some anxiety. You will find him to be a bit stubborn sometimes, but let’s be honest - what boxer isn't? He knows his basic commands, and mostly listens to them.  During his stay with us, we have not exposed him to other dogs based off his needing to heal and the previous info we were given. His fosters have reported that he has some basic curiousity when he sees other dogs when walking, but does not show any reactivity. To our knowledge, he has not been exposed to cats. Samson is pretty much an "old soul". He loves routine and to know where his people are at all times. He loves to curl up on the couch with you and will want to sleep in your bed, too. He is one of those rare boxers that will actually give you space and not try to hog it all. ##794406##

Story
This little beauty is Daisy. She's about 2 1/2 years old boxer/pit mix. She walks well on her leash and likes cats. Daisy has been attacked in the past by smaller dogs and causing much fear and distrust, but with time and patience she will be able to overcome this. Daisy likes to play with toys and tug is a favorite game. She knows sit and paw and is very smart and eager to learn. She would do great in an active home because she is young and full of fun but is content to come in and sleep in bed when done. If you think Daisy is the girl for you, please fill out a meet and greet application: https://forms.gle/uqMM9wsV2YyKUEPs5
