Meet our sweet, special boy Eddie. Eddie has been through the ringer let us tell you! Eddie came to us paralyzed after being hit by a car. Our team worked their wonders and had a fantastic foster step up to help him with his care. Now he can walk and run, just has a little wobble to his walk. Eddie loves other dogs and requires a home with one. He has a slightly enlarged heart and will be a special needs boy for life, however long that life may be. He loves people and going on walkies! Cats are a hard bargain with him. Some don`t bother him and some he likes to chase after. He absolutely adores kids! His adoption fee is $200 plus tax Find us on Facebook to be updated on events and shelter news or visit us at WWW.THEHSKMC.COM. Dogs up for adoption at the Hawk Creek Animal Shelter are spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested negative (if age appropriate), given initial vaccinations (a booster may be needed), given flea, tick and heartworm preventative, & dewormed. Please visit our website for prices and more information about our hours. No pre-applications are accepted, please come to the shelter with your family with no appointment needed. We do our very best in providing truthful information about our adoptable dogs. If you do not see information about one of our dogs’ personalities, it is because we do not know much about them yet. We do appreciate a dog meet and greet to see if the dogs are compatible, an appointment is helpful but not required. We can complete a cat introduction at the shelter in a safe manner to get a sense of the dog’s behavior towards cats. With that knowledge, we will provide a blanket statement that you are ultimately responsible for keeping your cat safe. We recommend crate training for all our dogs while they adjust to a new home environment. Please bring along your family to meet the dog you’re looking at to see that it is a good fit. Also bring landlord permission for adopting a dog which includes any breed or weight restrictions.

Adrik 3yr American Bulldog X M. $200 plus tax, 55lbs. Big ole lover boy! Very happy go lucky. Loves to zoom around the yard a play. Big foodie, snacks are the key to his heart.
