Meet Boss! Boss came to us all the way from Arkansas and is around 8–10 weeks old. He’s a sweet little Boxer mix with the perfect mix of playful energy and cuddly charm! He loves to play with my resident dogs and is doing pretty well with potty training — he’s learning to use his pee pads! Boss is also working on his kennel training. He’ll bark a bit when first left alone but settles down nicely, especially with some calm music. He sleeps through the night in his kennel and even went on his first walk today! Boss has also met cats — and had no reaction at all. He’s a sleepy, snuggly, and curious little guy who’s learning more every day. Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Sweet little Sally is on the hunt for her forever home—and preferably one with a very comfy couch. She’s a professional-level cuddler and firmly believes all laps were created specifically for her. If you sit down, she sits on you. That’s the deal. She’s also an excellent sidekick, happily riding shotgun in the car like she’s supervising your driving. Sally LOVES going for walks, but only if she’s properly bundled up. This girl does not do cold. Her potty training is coming along wonderfully—partly because she likes to get her business done quickly so she can return to warmer indoor climates. Right now Sally’s living with two adults, two elementary-aged kids, and one giant Newfoundland, and she’s a fan of all of them. Big dog? Small dog? Neighborhood dog she’s never met before? She’s happy to say hello. Sally is quiet as a mouse… unless she’s in her kennel. Then she’ll file a formal (and loud) complaint until you either lie next to her or come back home. We’re working on it. Above all, Sally wants to be wherever her humans are—helping, supervising, or simply providing emotional support via lap occupation. Meet Jackie - a wonderfully clumsy, moderate-energy young pup with bulldog snores and boxer antics (because of course she’s literally made of those two breeds). She’ll do a few joyful zoomie laps around the house and then immediately take a dramatic nap like she just ran a 5k. Jackie is fully potty-trained and sleeps peacefully through the night in her own bed. She knows sit, takes treats gently, and absolutely loves balls. She can be a little squirmy and unsure at first, but once she warms up, she melts right into you like butter in a hot pan. She may benefit from having a confident dog sibling to learn from, but it’s not required—she can thrive solo, too. Because she’s sensitive to sudden movement and startle responses, Jackie would do best in a home with older kids only. She’ll really blossom with gentle reassurance, structure, and routine. Stella is a beautiful girl. She is very affectionate and loves everyone. She loves to play and hug. We are working on teaching her not to jump. She just wants to be touching someone all the time. She is walking great on a leash and learning basic commands. She gets along with other dogs and would do well with an active family. Her adoption fee is $250 and is currently in Tennessee. Buster was found running down the road. We found out that he was adopted from a shelter, but the lady couldn't keep him, so she gave him away and apparently, they didn't want him either. He's a good boy just looking for his forever family. He is 5 months old and gets along with everyone.
