Ruth came from a shelter where she was VERY active when released from her kennel! People were not understanding that she was just "happy" to be out of confinement! She is a very calm dog who enjoys sleeping through the night in bed! She is a great "snuggler" at night! She is great with other dogs both small and large and loves our 6 year old grandson!

Story
Posy is a very sweet dog, she is around 6-7 years old and she was a rescue from the shelter. They were not fully honest with me about her needs, and I am at a point where I cannot provide her the life she deserves to have. She is very loving and loyal, but she is very anxious with strangers. She came from a bad home and is mostly afraid of men especially in uniform. However, if properly introduced she can get along with men very well. She is house trained, crate trained, and walks okay on a leash but could use some training. Cautious introductions with all strangers is a MUST. She is also afraid of thunder and fireworks, but has anxiety medication to help. She is a fast learner and needs a home where she can feel safe. She gets along very well with other dogs, absolutely no cats or small children. She is energetic and loves blankets treats and getting new toys. I love her to death, she has always been a good dog. I just want her to have a home where she is happy.
