Gracie is fairly new to us so we are still getting to know her. What we do know is that she is friendly and curious about other dogs. She is learning to walk on a leash and to fully trust people. She wants to but when we move too quickly or sneak up on her it still startles her. Gracie has already made progress in her short time with us and we know she will continue in the right direction with a bit of TLC. Oliver is a 2-year-old Boxer/Lab mix (~55 lbs) looking for a forever home. He is affectionate, loyal, and thrives when he is close to his people. He loves attention, cuddling, and being part of daily family life. He is great with children and other dogs and has no aggression toward people or animals. Oliver is playful and social, but he plays very enthusiastically and can be rough, so he is best suited for older children and medium to large dogs who enjoy active play. He is very people-oriented and does not do well being left alone for long stretches. He would do best in a home where someone is home often or where he can be included in everyday routines. Oliver is also an intense cuddler who loves sleeping under the covers with his humans. He enjoys being close at all times and considers himself part of the bed-sharing arrangement. He is young, energetic, and occasionally jumpy when excited, and he may counter-surf, but he is smart and responds well to structure.
