Don't know about cats. He takes a bit to build trust and has a hard time with inconsistent schedules. He is crate and potty trained and very familiar with commands. Chico is a very smart, loving dog who loves to be loyal to the people he trusts and is looking for an adult-only home. He's good with children that he is familiar with, but now that his kids are growing up and having more friends over, Chico seems to be having a harder time feeling comfortable around the kids' friends. He shows fear of them by his barking, which intimidates people and kids. He went to a trainer for 6 weeks that had helped the family guide him with his sensitivity towards unfamiliar people. He seemed responsive until recently when he snipped at a nephew's ankle when the boy was putting his foot out toward Chico. ** DO BEST WITH FENCED YARD ** Skittles is a 16 month old, 45 lb love bug!   She is happiest when she is getting all the skritches and bully rubs!   Skittles was born outside and lived there until she was rescued.  We are not sure what breeds she may be, especially with her naturally docked tail!     Her whole booty wiggles when she wags! Skittles is dog and cat friendly. She is potty trained and does great when left alone uncrated.   She is a bit shy when first meeting new scenarios, but warms up within a bit. Skittles has a new found love for toys and likes them all!  She gets so excited, she wants to play with them all. She enjoys taking every toy and putting it into in her bed for safe keeping!     Skittles would do best with a fenced yard, as she is still learning what a leash is and gets easily scared with new things.  She relies on her people to give her the comfort and confidence when encountering new things!   If you are interested, complete the  Adoption Application  on our website at  www.NeedyPaws.org  and we will contact you.  Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO. When it was noticed that she was getting bigger and bigger, we realized she was ready to have puppies. With the help of a few friends, She was captured and put into a loving foster home where she delivered 5 beautiful puppies a day later. Momma has stolen the hearts of her foster family and will remain there, but her puppies will be looking for their own permanent homes very soon. Nona is your typical roly poly playful puppy. Her adoption fee is $175 which helps to cover her vetting. She will be spayed, given age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, dewormed and on flea/tick prevention.
