Story
How good, good dogs like Sasha end up on the street we will never understand. Sasha was found as a stray and never reclaimed. Lucky for us, because we get to find her her forever home! We estimate Sasha is 4 years old and she appears to be a boxer mix. At 55 lbs, she's a great size. She is obedient, loves everyone, and is an overall good girl. During the day, Sasha accompanies her foster mom at work where she is happy to lounge and hang out. At night, she sleeps in her little doggy bed. Sasha does not like her kennel and she would love to find a home where she can work with you from home or join you at the office. She is the biggest snuggle bug and anyone will be lucky to add her to their family!  House trained: Yes - can be left out without accidentsLeash trained: Yes - walks great on a leashKennel trained: Hates the kennel - has been left alone for 2-3 hours at a time and does wellRides well in a car: Yes Good with other dogs: Yes - would love other dog companions Good with cats: Yes - fostered with cats Good with young children (under 10): Not fostered with kids but we think she'd do well Shy or confident: Confident Barks: No Apartment qualified: Yes Health concerns or special needs: None We believe Sasha is a Boxer mix and was born around 2-28-2020. She is fostered in a private home in Lincoln. The adoption fee is $300 which helps cover the cost of vetting procedures. Adoptable pets will have received age-appropriate vaccines and dewormings, a microchip, heartworm test (if applicable) and a spay/neuter. This procedure is scheduled through Brave by the age of 6 months and the cost is covered through the adoption fee. If you’re interested in adopting this puppy/dog, please submit an inquiry or email BraveAnimalRescue@gmail.com to ask about our adoption process (please check your spam or junk email if you do not hear back from us within a few business days). Story
Adopt this gal and you'll get to enjoy Paradise every day! Her journey has definitely not been an easy one but that just makes her enjoy life even more! Paradise was found very pregnant wandering an unfamiliar town. Unfortunately, none of her pups survived. This poor Mama found herself without her family, without her babies and heartworm positive. Thankfully, some kind people and Dolly's stepped up to give her love, comfort, and heartworm treatment. Today, Paradise is a happy lady who loves to be around her people. She is house and kennel-trained so mark that off the to-do list! She also LOVES playing fetch with any toy she can find. She also enjoys a good stuffy but they don't last long with her chompers. Paradise is a good girl, she seems to know what are toys and what aren't leaving shoes alone and also listening well to redirection when needed. Paradise does get along with most other dogs, but she prefers not to share her toys. We'd love for her to be the center of someone's universe, but if you have another furbaby, it's important that Paradise meets them. She likes to be in charge so a more laid-back pup would be the best fit. At the end of the day, she loved to cuddle on the couch(or your lap!). Paradise really is a gem! If you're willing to give her lots of love and pets, she'll happily reward you with big kisses! Can you give this sweet gal the happily ever after she deserves? Paradise is a Boxer/Black Lab mix (our best estimate of breeds) who was was born approximately 8-6-19 and weighs 65 lbs. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, provided life-saving heartworm treatment and started on heartworm prevention. Adoption fee is $400 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care. If interested in adopting one of our available dogs or puppies, you must first complete an online adoption application at https://dollyslegacyanimalrescue.org/adopt/ You will be contacted by our adoption coordinator via email after your application has been reviewed & approved to schedule an appointment. Our website is updated daily, pets that are listed are still available. ***If you are serious about adopting, you must first complete and submit an application on our website. Story
Velma is a sweet and cuddly Boxer mix (likely some kind of pitbull), that will be two years old this summer. She is always ready to go wherever her people are going and likes to stay near by. She loves running around in the backyard chasing any animals and starring out the window to see what's going on. Velma has no problems staying in a kennel and is house trained (though she might still have an occasional accident in the house once in a while). She has been great with my 11yo son and his friends. But she and my other dog have been becoming more aggressive towards each other, and she should be in a home without other dogs. Velma has been a great companion, friendly with people, and I'm hoping to find her a good home. The adoption fee is basically for her leash, toys, kennel, bowl, etc. and would be able to go lower on the price if that is not needed. Please reach out if you have any questions or would like to meet Velma.

Story
Duncan is a 4 year old, male, Boxer mix. He came to us after being rescued from a house fire where he lost his family (owner and two other dog siblings). He stayed loyal to his owner during the fire and was rescued laying next to his owner. He is a very very sweet boy. Unlike a typical boxer he is a mellow personality. When he gets excited he likes to talk and batt his arm at you and he loves to chase tennis balls. He seems to like to find small spaces like corners to feel safe. We expect this is because he was raised in a smaller home. -Duncan would do best in a home with another dog for companionship or with a retired person who will include him in lots of stuff and give him lots of love. He seeks out cuddles! -He does great with our 4 kids, 3 other dogs, and our bird. We have not had him around any cats. - Fenced yard he can run around in and lounge in. -He has had 2 ACL surgeries a few years ago. He came to us over weight but is now at a healthy weight.

Story
This is Raven, and she's a mixed-breed sweetheart still looking for her forever home. She's super friendly, loves the outdoors (except she wants a nice comfy bed inside when she sleeps or it's cold), She's good with kids and most other dogs, 15 months old and 35 lbs with a lot of energy. She needs someone who likes to hike, camp or just spend time outside. She teally needs room to run, so a farm or ranch would be perfect. She's fixed and has all her shots, house trained and walks well on a leash. Send me a text with questions or adoption interest at (xxx) xxx-xxxx .
