Story
Nova is a 1 yr, 10 mth old, 45 lb boxer / black mouth cur mix looking for her forever home.  Nova can be shy at first but opens up to be quite a hoot!  She wants to make her people happy and laughs are her specialty. She is a performer! She is getting more confident to new situations especially when her people bring yummy treats.  Nova loves her daily walks and play time in the yard.  She gets along great with other dogs and she has the most expressive face.  If you think you are the family for her please come meet her. The adoption fee is $350 and covers age appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter.  Applications are typically worked in time stamp order based on date/time of submission.  If you have other dogs in your home, they must all meet the potential adoptee.  It may save you a trip to bring them with you when you visit, if you are certain you want to adopt a new family member. *****We are currently operating by appointment only during the social distancing stage of quarantine.   If you want to meet this pet, or are interested in adopting, please submit an inquiry or email to tchspapillion@gmail.com.  Someone from the rescue will contact you and/or your family and determine, on a broad level, whether you might be a fit for the animal.  If so, they will provide instructions for completing the application. Your application will be reviewed and you will be contacted to set up a time to meet at the shelter or the foster home.   The introduction between you and the pet will be supervised by one of the dog counselors or the foster.   If all goes well, you can adopt during the same visit. Story
Bernadette is wondering where oh where can her family be. Bernie is such an incredible girl. She loves long walks and sniffing game trails for hours on end. Bernie is a very smart black nose cur mix that’s just over 4 years young. She is always looking for attention and love, she wants nothing more than to kiss faces, love on her people and play with them too. She’s known for her hilarious sploot lay down position. She is an energetic and lively young lady and she deserves all the love and care in the world. Bernie needs to be the only dog in the family and no cats. She loves treats of all kinds and she will do whatever is asked to do for a food reward. If you think this intelligent young baby is right for you, please apply at https://townandcountryhumanesociety.org Thanks to our amazing Angel Sponsors, our long term pups now come with reduced adoption fees, alleviating financial road blocks for some, and making it even easier to open your heart and home to a furry friend.
