Hi, I’m Libby, a lovely Boxer mix with a soft heart and a very sweet way about me. I can be a little timid when we first meet, but give me a little kindness and some gentle pets, and you’ll see me start to relax and lean into your affection. Once I feel safe, I’m the kind of girl who wants to trust and be close. I’m 3.5 years old, 44 pounds, and already spayed, so I’m ready to head home with my new family. I came to the shelter when the people who had me could no longer care for me, but I’m looking ahead now. I tested well with both dogs and cats, which could make me a wonderful fit for a home that wants a calm, gentle companion with a little extra tenderness in her soul. If you have a soft spot for the shy ones, I just might be your girl. There is something really special about earning the love of a dog like me, and I think the person who gives me that chance is going to get a loyal best friend in return. Libby's adoption fee is $275. We are taking applications for Miss Juno. This sweet little wiggle butt wants to wiggle her way right into your heart and home. She is a spayed female boxer mix. She is up to date on vaccines & vetting. She is very playful, with a quiet cuddly side. She is about 50 lbs, and aprox 1.5 years old. Gets along with other pups and is good around kids. She is in training currently, to learn how to harness her boundless energy & gain some leash manners. She knows some basic commands & is working on “leave it”. Her foster mom has had nothing but wonderful things to say about her. She is crate trained and house broken. She would be your perfect adventure dog, as she likes going for a swim in the river. Dog sitting and owner never returned. This has been difficult because we are not a pet family. The dog housed in garage, he seems to prefer to be outside. He does not like the basement and will not go down there. He is playful and I little clumsy. He has not shown any aggressive behavior towards any of our guest including children. He has gotten out of the yard a couple times, once he was sitting at bus stop with kids he did not know. When people walk dogs by the fence he runs back and forth barking. I think he is a sweet dog but we can't manage him. We tried to get him in a no kill shelter and was not able to. We have many family events at the home with different people and again no issues

Meet Izzy! Izzy was adopted from us a few years ago. Unfortunately, she was returned to us in June 2024. She wasn't getting along with the other pets in her home. Due to this, Izzy will need to be the only pet in her forever home. Izzy is a dream dog. She is very low maintenance. She sleeps in on the weekends, entertains herself, and loves to cuddle on the couch and watch tv. Izzy is crate and house trained. She is amazing in the car and can adapt to new surroundings quickly. Izzy is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, on heartworm prevention and is microchipped. Izzy is on a special diet (chicken and rice kibble). Izzy was born on 11/24/2019 and weighs 50 lbs. Soki is about 3 years old, about 65lbs, and a husky boxer mix. She is slow to trust but once she does, you will have a dog that loves you like no other. She is a queen and with that comes some sass from her husky heritage. She can carry on a conversation and loves to sit on the dining table chairs when doing so. I have had many dogs doing rescue and none can match her personality or devotion. She is not the best with cats and can be dog selective. Does not do well with bossy dogs.
