Big Boy is our oldest HSCC resident at 15 years old. He has been overlooked for many years and he is still just waiting for the perfect family that he deserves. Although he is a senior, he’s still full of life and energy. He gets the zoomies and does a couple laps then just enjoys sniffing around. His favorite things to do are go for walks, chew on tennis balls, run through the leaves, and lead you towards the treat stash then give you his sweet convincing eyes. His name may be Big Boy, but he probably hears “Good Boy” just as much! He’s such a gentleman that adores people. He’s right under 50 lbs, but he’ll try to convince you that he’s a lap dog. He truly just wants to lay there and be loved on. He would prefer to shine as an only dog where he can become your best buddy. Please help us make Big Boy’s Christmas wish come true this year and find him a place to finally call Home. Hey there. My name is Nola. I am a Pyrenees boxer mix. (I don’t look Pyrenees at all). I love fetch and zoomies. I was hanging out at a barn and I loved the open space to run in. I left the cats alone, they were kinda cranky, and those horses are just big. Yikes. I am great at fetch. I run and run and find the ball. Then I hide it so you can come find it. Now we both get exercise. Win win! I love toys. This stuffed ones are amazing and they explode. Joy! The bones are great too. Chomp chomp. I don’t eat your things. See I am a good girl. I am a fantastic cuddler. I enjoy the sofa, the bed, a dog bed. Just something soft. You can dress me up. I don’t mind. I am even getting better about pulling on the leash. Sometimes I put it in my mouth to walk myself. You deserve a rest. Right? My foster momma says I can be silly but I am adorable. I am 60 pounds. Ok, I have to use one old pic in the new post. It's a real attention getter. This mature lady with the charming smile is S'mores. She's a 7 yr old Boxer mix on the hunt for a permanent butt scratcher. She loves her fosters, although they could be a little more diligent in their efforts. S'mores is an excellent companion for just about anyone. She likes kids, chill dogs, naps, treats, and more than anything, butt scratches. She does like to bark at strangers.
