Story
Hi, I`m Smudge! (~65lbs)I`m a very sweet and playful pup who enjoys long walks and yummy treats. I love to be around my people and sometimes feel scared when I`m alone, so I need a family that will help me learn that my family will always come back when they leave. I am nervous when I meet new people, stranger danger!! I need time and patience to get comfortable with you. For this reason it is important to be familiar with dog body launguage to help set me up for success. I am working on my manners I love to jump up high and kiss you right on the mouth, but not everyone likes that I guess. I am quirky and sweet and am sure you will love me once we are friends.I`d be happy to live in a home with another dog, and with a family that will give me lots of time to play.

She may be shy at first, but behind those cautious eyes is the sweetest soul just waiting to feel safe. She’s the kind of dog who finds joy in the simple things like cozy couch naps, soft comfy beds, and being close to her people once she knows she can trust you. When she bonds, she bonds deeply. She doesn’t need the spotlight, she just wants a calm home where she can exhale and finally relax. Because she didn’t receive much socialization as a puppy, the world can still feel a little overwhelming. She’ll need a patient, understanding adopter who will give her time to decompress and come to her own conclusions that life isn’t so scary after all. Dog experience is preferred, or a commitment to working with a professional trainer to help her continue building confidence and life skills. She is not safe with cats or small dogs. Children are still to be determined and will be tested soon, we would reccomend older children. This sweet girl isn’t looking for perfection, she’s looking for patience. She’s looking for someone who sees past the shyness and recognizes the loyal, gentle companion she’s becoming. With time, kindness, and guidance, she has all the potential to blossom into an incredible family dog. If you believe in second chances and quiet love stories, she may be your girl. Macchi  has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped,  and additionally, Macchi has been on monthly preventatives. Her adoption fee is $950.00, which includes her health records! Story
Hi I’m Riggs! I’m a handsome Boxer boy with a big heart and an even bigger zest for life. I love being outside where I can run, play, and stretch my legs. Whether I’m chasing after a toy, exploring the yard, or soaking up the sunshine, I’m happiest when I’ve got room to move and people to share my adventures with.I’m a social guy who enjoys meeting new people and making friends. My bark might sound tough, but I’m really just saying hello. I’m playful, loving, and always ready for some fun. I’d be happiest in a home with older kids or adults who appreciate my Boxer-style enthusiasm and goofy energy. At home, I’m a total sweetheart. I sleep quietly at the foot of the bed all night and love being near my people. My foster family says I’ve got a gentle side that shines through more and more every day.I’m smart, affectionate, and full of personality. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will keep you laughing, love you unconditionally, and remind you to enjoy every sunny day, I’m your guy.*located in Little Britain**Previous home said not good with cats**Prefer a home with no other dogsrequires experienced owner

Story
COMING SOON- NOT YET AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION (requires vetting) Hi, I’m Sarge! I’m a 1.5 year old Boxer bursting with spunk, personality, and energy. I know my basics like sit, down, wait, and leave it, and I’m pretty proud of that. I’m pretty good on walks too, though if I get excited I might pull a little because there is just so much to see.I’m a big personality and sometimes like to “talk back” with little grumbles and barks, and I can get a bit jumpy when I’m excited to say hello. I’m still working on my manners and learning every day. I get very happy when I see other dogs and have a strong interest in squirrels, so cats and small dogs probably are not the best fit for me. If you’re looking for a fun, lively, and loving sidekick who will keep life exciting, I’m your guy.Located in Chatham

Story
Welcome to Miami....is what I would say when meeting me! I am warm, super friendly and very lively. Just like the city in Florida. And since it`s a little difficult to gage my size through a picture, I am almost 47 lbs. I may be compact but there`s a lot of power in this little body. So I`d probably be better with older children, I tend to be a little too rough when excited.I would also be better off as the only pet in the house too. Not sure what I want in a dog companion, so I am described as dog selective. But with humans, love is my middle name. I am very affectionate.Don`t I sound like a wonderful companion? If so come down to London Animal Care Centre and see for yourself. You won`t be disappointed. Miami.

Are you looking for a loyal best friend? Luda would be a perfect fit. He is unsure at first when meeting new people, often barking at them with his big doggy bark. Once he realizes you are a friend he is a silly boy. Because his bark is so loud he would not do well in an apartment. Luda is a medium-low energy dog who loves food puzzles and long walks in the neighbourhood. Luda is a medium sized dog, he walks pretty nice on the leash with our volunteers. He could share his new home with another dog preferably one who is calm. An adult only home would be best for him. Please call the shelter and set up a time to meet Luda if you`re interested!

Story
Meadow is a very sensitive, quiet girl who would love a quiet, gentle family. This poor girl was seen being tossed and locked outside at night by a family that had only had her less than 24 hours.. We don`t know her full story, but we know she deserved better. She was very scared when she came to us, but looked at us with trusting eyes and would lean against us for comfort. She is still coming out of her shell, but we have learned so far that she likes to be near her people, she likes to cuddle, and she is a little nervous around other dogs but seems to like them. We can`t wait to get to know her better and see the playful side we know is hiding in there. To make an appointment to meet Meadow, please call us at 519-685-1330!
