Story
Hero came to PCHS as a local stray unclaimed. He was traveling with another dog, that was hit and killed by a car. Hero is a very active dog, adjusting well to having daily care and TLC. He is housebroken, but will need additional leash walking training. Hero is food motivated. He would benefit with an active home and lifestyle with reassurance. Hero loves to splash around in water! If you have another dog, meet and greet is required. We believe Hero will be a loyal companion.

Story
Riley is a 3 year old 50 lb pit bull/boxer mix. He is housetrained. He does fine with other dogs outside. Too excited during the cat test. He likes to lay on cozy beds. Gets very attached to his human. He has been with adopter two years but the owner has to find a new home for him. So we believe in a home he would do best as an only pet and would do great providing emotional support for a human. If you would like to meet him and possible adopt please text Casey at 570-441-0083. He is up to date on vaccines and he is neutered already. We adopt to the general public but we also adopt to military veterans at no charge to provide companion pets or emotional support dogs to our heroes! ##1596723##

Story
IDGSR Welcomes MURF into the safety of the rescue!! THIS DOG IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE & AVAILABLE FOR TRANSPORT ************** Hiya! My name is Murf and I'm an adorable 5month old Boxer/Shepherd mix little boy. I am located near the Greeneville, Tennessee area and am available for transport to my forever home! My mom is a pretty German Shepherd mix & my dad, well, we think he was the milkbone delivery doggo and aren't sure of his breed. We do know that I'm 100% adorable! My mom and 6 other siblings were rescued from a pretty sad situation. We were living in deplorable conditions and not being taken care of. We are now in a great foster home awaiting to be adopted! Like any young pup, I love to eat, play with my siblings, explore, follow my foster mom around, and try to get into mischief. I would love to find a home that will take me on adventures, give me yummy treats, and play with me a lot! I'm still learning and am doing great with house & kennel training. I'm super smart and will catch on quickly to anything you can teach me. I'll also need obedience training to make sure we bond together and prove I'm the smartest pup around! If you are looking for a loving, adorable, curious, energetic, and down right cute new bestie - I'm your guy! Story
Your eyes don't deceive you, it's me O'Malley! Aka the cutest, littlest guy EVER!! I originally came to the shelter with my ‘friend' Erin, we were left behind in our home, but were thankfully found be these hoomans! And they've been taking such good care of me. They feed me, give me toys and treats, and alllll the belly rubs, it's the best! My favorite thing is my walks, they make me so happy sometimes I even bring a toy with me to help contain my excitement, and since I'm so little, I walk so well. I'm truly the best guy, everyone tells me so and swears they aren't lying. Since arriving at the shelter, I've been reactive to other dogs, but I think once I'm less stressed, I'll come around. And in the mean time I can't wait to spend all my time with you and getting comfy. If I've caught your eye come on down to the shelter and meet me today! Kisses and slobber, O'Malley

Story
Cali enjoys spending time with humans, but not other canine companions. She would need to be the only dog in her new home. She is also very strong on the leash while walking but does take correction. With some basic training we believe she'd be a really good dog for a couple or single person. Cali will be UTD on vaccines, spayed and will be microchipped prior to going home.
