Story
Minnie is ready for her second chance. ❤️ Minnie is a young adult spayed female Boxer cross, approximately 7–9 months old. She was found along a fence wearing a harness and leash, clearly having been on the run for some time. By the time help arrived, Minnie was in full flight mode. She was scared, overwhelmed, and when staff tried to leash her, she panicked and snapped. It is heartbreaking to see an animal so afraid that they don't know what to do. Four staff members worked calmly and patiently to help Minnie, and eventually, we earned her trust enough to bring her to safety. The beautiful part? As soon as Minnie realized we meant her no harm, she quietly laid down. Back at the shelter, her shy little playful side began to emerge. The next day, she was happily playing and showing us what a sweet young dog she truly is. Dogs are incredible creatures. No matter what they have experienced in the past, they have an amazing ability to live in the moment and embrace new beginnings. No one has come forward to claim Minnie, so she is now available for adoption and ready to find her happily ever after. Minnie is looking for a family that will give her the love, patience, and security she deserves. Minnie’s adoption fee is $300. She is spayed, started on her vaccination schedule, and microchipped. To apply to adopt Minnie, head to www.mjhs.ca, click the Adopt tab, then Adoptable Animals, and scroll to Minnie’s face to submit your application. Once approved, we'll arrange a visit to make sure she is the perfect fit for your family. There is never any obligation to adopt after meeting her. Could Minnie be the fresh start you've both been waiting for? 🐾💕 I prefer this response

Story
My name is Bobby. I am a rambunctious and goofy pooch. I love to play outside in the grass. I'm a big time cuddler on the couch or bed. I will invade your space for kisses, hugs and bum scratches. I love to go on walks, play with stuffies and play with my fosters 6 cats. I am dog reactive and that is only because I was attacked as a puppy. So, I am scared of other dogs. My foster is trying to get me used to other dogs. I will give you lots of love and kisses and be your best friend for life.
