Story
Meet Cairo! Cairo is a 7-year-old Boxer mix. She is vaccinated and spayed. Cairo is not your typical boxer; she is significantly shorter for her breed. Personality-wise, she has the fiercest loyalty and is just about the sweetest friend a human could have! Cairo is incredibly friendly and affectionate; she loves nothing more than to sit on your lap, making every moment a comforting one for the both of you! Despite her age, she still enjoys a leisurely stroll (she is exceptional on a leash) and loves to play fetch, especially with squeaky toys. Cairo may face joint and teeth issues as she ages, but her love for life remains unchanged. Cairo is the perfect canine for those seeking a friendly and steadfast friend. This little lady is looking for a fur-ever home with a peaceful setting, ideally with no young children and cats. But she does get along with other dogs! Cairo's dream is simple: to spend her golden years surrounded by a loving family who will cherish every moment spent with her!

Story
Hi. This is Zumma. He is a 1.5-year-old Shepherd mix. This love bug and a little bit of sass is looking for his forever home. He is very smart and loves to love his humans. He'll give you the best kisses. He is very food-motivated, and has some tricks up his paw like sitting, leaving it alone, twirling, laying down, shaking-a-paw, and we are working on gentle lol. He's good with small dogs and needs a very slow intro to bigger ones. This is due to his past. We are unsure how he is with cats, as I don’t think he's ever been near one. We think he has an allergy to chicken, so you must be aware of that. He's neutered and house-trained. He is most comfortable in his kennel when you are away from him. He loves to go for walks, and he enjoys it when we go to empty outdoor rinks or ball diamonds and runs to his heart's content. Good recall but would be cautious depending on the situation. He can be reactive to other dogs, but I've found he's likely to do it more when his big foster brother Bohdi gets him riled. He is more hesitant of men but he has come a long way being with us and the boys. This comes from his earlier life and is understandable. This bundle of love and licks will love being your bestie and has so much potential. He def knows his name! He has no veterinary concerns other than his allergy. He's great in the bath, rides in a car well and, although he’s scared of some people to start, he has never shown aggression towards anyone in any circumstances.
