Story
Bossy along with his brother and sister were found after being abandoned on a back road. They were very skittish, and it took a while to trap them. They had either not had much human interaction, or the interaction they had was not positive. Bossy is a shy pup who’s still learning to trust the world around him. He has just started letting us walk him on a leash. This means he can get out and play with the other dogs too, which he really enjoys. With patience, love, and a quiet environment, Bossy is sure to continue gaining confidence and will make a great companion for the right person or family. He would probably do best with a confident dog sibling to show him the ropes. His birthday is 4/24/22, he is neutered, up to date on shots, and weighs 35lbs.  Bossy joined the Leash on Life Prison Pup Program in January 2026. We are looking forward to hear about his progress. *************************************************************************** This pet comes with an implanted 24 PetWatch microchip and free registration into the 24PetWatch pet recovery service. *************************************************************************** This dog is available for adoption at the Humane Society of McCormick County is SC for an adoption fee. Story
Pup is 5 years old. I’ve had her since she was 6 weeks old. I really want her to get a loving home. She doesn’t like my 3 year old son. She doesn’t seem to have a problem with live stock (horses &rabbits) she would make a great guard dog. She is extremely protective. She is house trained and kennel trained. She has been around our other pitbull her whole life she is fine with small dogs not sure about other big dogs.

These seven orphaned black boxer mix puppies are starting their lives with hope, resilience, and a whole lot of heart. Appropriately named the New Year Wishes Litter, each puppy represents a wish for 2026—happiness, peace, love, and second chances. Despite their rough start, they have thrived with loving care and are ready to find families who will help them grow into confident, loyal companions. Like all puppies, they will need patience, training, and commitment, but they promise a lifetime of love in return. Felicity’s name means great happiness, and she delivers it with confidence, charisma, and a whole lot of personality. This stunning black Boxer girl definitely gives off strong girl boss energy and natural leadership vibes. She’s smart, self-assured, and loves being involved in whatever her people are doing. Felicity is food motivated and eager to learn, which makes her a fantastic candidate for training with positive reinforcement. She’s also a very expressive young lady—opinionated in the most entertaining way and never shy about sharing her thoughts, especially at mealtime. In fact, she’ll happily sing for her supper, letting you know exactly when she’s ready to eat. Despite her bold and confident nature, Felicity has a wonderfully sweet side. After a full day of play and puppy adventures, she’s perfectly content to crawl right into your lap for nightly snuggles, proving that even a leader loves her cuddle time. Felicity’s New Year wish is a family who will appreciate her big personality, encourage her intelligence, and cherish both her playful spirit and her loving heart. Felicity would thrive with a family who enjoys a confident, communicative dog and is excited to continue training, provide structure, and embrace her big personality. She’d be a wonderful match for someone who values both brains and cuddles and wants a true companion to grow alongside. Despite their rough start, they have thrived with loving care and are ready to find families who will help them grow into confident, loyal companions. Like all puppies, they will need patience, training, and commitment, but they promise a lifetime of love in return. Hope may be the smallest of the litter, but she has a quiet confidence that shines through in everything she does. As the runt, she represents resilience and determination—and she certainly doesn’t let her size slow her down. Thoughtful and observant, Hope likes to take in the action from the sidelines before deciding when to jump in, showing a sweet mix of curiosity and independence. Her favorite activities include a good game of keep-away with a toy and her siblings, proudly carrying around sticks, and soaking up the simple joys of puppyhood. Hope has a stunning chocolate brown coat and the softest brown eyes, and one look at her is usually all it takes to fall in love. Hope balances playfulness with affection beautifully. She’s just as happy joining in for fun as she is settling in for cuddles once the excitement winds down. Her New Year wish is for a patient, loving family who will appreciate her gentle approach to life, cheer her on as she builds confidence, and give her a safe place to grow and thrive. If you’d like to meet Hope, please fill out an adoption application at: https://luckydaypuppies.org/adopt/ ##2617313##

Drew is such a sweet boy! He gets along fine with other dogs, but does get stingy with food and treats, so best if he can be the alpha dog in the home. He's smart, listens well, loves to snuggle and is very friendly. Best in a home with no small children.
