We adopted Russell from the shelter 4 years ago after being found as a stray. The decision to rehome him does not come lightly but as our family has grown it seems that he may be better suited for a home without loud small children in it all the time. He’s skittish in the beginning but once he’s comfortable he’s very loving and loves to cuddle. He would do well in a home without children, or who don’t live in the home full time as they make him nervous. He gets along well with other dogs and loves to play, sometimes rambunctiously so. Unsure of how he would react to cats. He loves walks and treats. No food or resource aggression. Cooperative for baths at the groomer but needs some calming medicine for a vet visit. No allergies. Storms don’t seem to bother him (while indoors) and wants to spend all day outside sunbathing. Up to date on all medications and shots. Fully house trained with minimal accidents. Weighs 65 pounds. Adoption will include remaining medications and vet references.
