Journey has been at the rescue for close to 3 years! Despite his lengthy stay he has continued to be incredibly sweet and affectionate. He is not only friendly towards humans, but also plays well with other dogs, making him an ideal companion for a multi-dog household. He is playful - loves toys. Journey also enjoys meeting new people, always hoping that one of the new humans will take him home. It is hard to believe that this friendly guy has been in rescue for most of his life. Is it because he isn't as pretty as some other dogs? It certainly isn't because of his behavior. She’s especially sensitive to loud noises and sudden movements, so she’ll need a calm, patient home where she can take things at her own pace. Because of this, a home without children would be best for her comfort and confidence. She didn’t do well with the finder’s small dog, so slow, careful introductions with other dogs her size or larger are recommended. She would likely also be fine as the only dog in the home. This Pitbull Terrier pup is truly the sweetest dog you’ll ever meet. She lives for cuddles, melts into affection, and does the most adorable full-body wiggles when treats are involved (and yes—snacks are her love language 🍖). Miso is still figuring out the world and gaining confidence one day at a time. She’s learning how to walk on a leash (we’re not sure if she’d ever seen one before!), but she’s improving every day with gentle encouragement and love. She’s quiet and calm in her kennel, but when she gets outside? Zoomies. Glorious, joyful zoomies. And here’s the cutest part: Miso is completely obsessed with dandelions. She’ll sniff, prance, and roll around in them like they’re her personal flower garden.
