Story
Wren is a happy-go-lucky boxer. Loving pretty much everything and everyone this sweet girl loves cacoons and dens, hanging out with her buddies (people and dogs), and eating snacks (who doesn't?). She is constant need of attention, but much like the boxer she is, she is very independant.  Wren was in a home, the owner was no longer capable of giving Wren the love and attention she needed. When she arrived here she sprinted around the yard, so excited to run around. She goes out with one buddy at the moment but we expect she does well with most dogs. Previous owner said she does well with dogs, cats, and children. We have not seen her around cats, but we know she does well with little kids.  She is house trained, does well on leash, and is attentive to people. She would do well in homes where she can get attention and plenty of time to be mentally stimulated or room to run!   ##1666551##

As a young pup, he didn’t get all the early experiences most dogs do, so new places and faces can feel a little big at first. But once he feels safe, Bluey blossoms into the most loving and playful companion. He’s already shown us just how special he is—building sweet bonds with people he trusts and delighting us every day with his love for other dogs. His gentle heart and playful spirit are just waiting for the right family to help him continue to grow in confidence. Bluey isn’t looking for perfection—just a patient, kind family who will give him the love and encouragement he needs to thrive. With that support, he’ll reward you with loyalty, joy, and endless love.Could Bluey be the missing piece of your family?Bluey was born September 2022Included with adoption: Age-appropriate vaccinations, up-to-date on heart-worm and flea/tick preventative, heartworm test which includes tick disease testing (if over 6 months), 24Petwatch microchip with registration, fecal analysis and health check before adoption, and spayed or neutered-if not already, a voucher is provided which will cover the cost. Story
Charity is a super sweet pup who does well with children. She does have crate reactivity to other dogs and needs slow introductions. Charity loves getting pets more than anything. Generally easy going with humans. She's been to a trainer for this and has been able to reduce her reactivity and even be walked with other dogs peacefully.  Charity and two others came from east Texas where a duo of rescuers saved her from the fate of dogs in small towns with limited animal control services. They were found starving on the streets, so Charity does struggle with food aggresive tendancies (towards other dogs, but no issues seen with humans.) She is very smart and human attentive.   Charity needs a 6 ft tall privacy fence due to her fence jumping capabilities. She should be the only pet in the home.  She has been around children aged 1-17. She may unintentionally knock smaller children over but generally does well with kids.  She is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. She has been on monthly heartworm preventative.  ##1666556##

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.BT/Boxer mix with known allerges Nash is a ridiculously charming 4-year-old Boston Terrier/Boxer mix with a heart-melting underbite and a perfectly compact 30-pound frame. One look at that sweet face and you’ll understand why everyone falls for him instantly. This affectionate little guy has undergone thorough allergy testing, and as a result, he requires a  very strict, specialized diet  to stay healthy and comfortable, but the food he's eating is readily available at Walmart and is not very expensive. His allergies are extensive, so it’s essential that his new family is committed to maintaining his food regimen without exceptions. The good news? His cuddles, loyalty, and joyful personality more than make up for the extra care. Nash is a social sweetheart who gets along beautifully with dogs, cats, and other critters in his foster home. He’s also known to be gentle and friendly with children. His favorite things include car rides, snuggling close, supervised outdoor play, and long, cozy naps. He does have a bit of a mischievous streak — Nash is an escape artist,  so he’ll need a secure  yard with a solid fence.  He’s been known to scale  chain link fences,  so a 6 -foot wooden privacy fence is strongly preferred to keep him safe and sound. He’s not one to be left alone for long stretches, so he’ll thrive in a home where someone is around during the day to play  with him, let him out regularly, and give him the attention he craves. If you’re looking for a mellow buddy who’s happy to lounge beside you but still enjoys a bit of social time and outdoor fun, Nash could be your perfect match. He’s currently being fostered in Central Texas and is ready to meet the family who’ll love him just the way he is. Could that be you? If you have questions specifically about Nash, please email us at info@abtrr.org. While we do have a phone number, we have a very small volunteer base, and we are often unable to return phone calls in a timely manner. Thank you!
