Annie is a female tan with white mix breed. She is 5 years old and she weighs 36 pounds. Annie is spayed and vaccinated including rabies. Annie is heartworm negative and on monthly heartworm preventive. Annie is ready for adoption. Annie is people and dog friendly, and only mildly curious about the cat. Annie was owner surrendered (through no fault of Annie’s) by the person who has had her since she was 10 weeks old. Annie doesn’t know her own strength but she is sweet and gentle too. Annie is potty and kennel trained. She pulls on a leash and is spooked by cars driving by. Annie knows her name, knows sit, and could learn so much more. We think Annie would do best with a fenced back yard for her and a friend to play in. Adoption fee is $150. Must apply: Application for adoption is located at http://fs19.formsite.com/JeffTarpleyRescue/application/index.html Jeff Tarpley Rescue 903-490-2959 We require all potential adopters to submit an application. We only accept applications for a specific dog you are interested in adopting. We do not keep waiting lists or files of general applications for dogs we might get later. Applicants willing to travel to Texarkana will also be considered with additional requirements to qualify as approved.

At 11 months and about 60 pounds she is showing her muscles with her sprints, ducks, weaves, and jumps as she plays with other dogs. She loves kids and is fine with cats. Roxy is crate and house trained. After last potty break before bed she heads straight to her kennel for her bedtime snack and a quiet night. Because of her jumping ability and strong legs she needs a 6 foot fence or supervision when outside.

Someone left Sophie in front of my house in a crate; she was just a little thing. Since then, I have fostered Sophie, and she has been raised with several other dogs of all sizes. Sophie gets along well with all dogs, especially bigger dogs with whom she can play. Sophie is very lovable and cuddly. Sophie still has puppy tendencies, but is growing out of the chewing stage. We are working on basic commands with Sophie, and she seems pretty smart.
