Howdy, My name is Elvis. I’m not trying to be sexy. It’s just my way of expressing myself when I move around. Some people tap their feet, some people snap their fingers, and some people sway back and forth. I just sorta do ’em all together LOL My story is a strange one. I was found on a county road, roaming around wondering what was going on. tired, hungry and scared. A nice couple found me and noticed that I wasn't in too bad of shape. They coaxed me over, noticed I was neutered and thought maybe I was chipped. Lo and behold they found out I was!!! They called Lucies and the nice lady there called the chip company to see who I belonged too. Bad news, the original owners closed the account like 8 days earlier.....luckily an animal shelter about 140 miles away held secondary ownership. After much exhausting and grueling time on the phone with them, the animal shelter would not take me back because I was not found in their county. What the heck fire???? What type of shelter would do that???!!!! Good thing I landed at Lucies, they truly care about me!!! They got me all vetted up and I am a healthy, fun loving boy. I'm good at car riding and I do well on a leash. I need someone who will take me home and love me and never abandon me. Please be you!!! *** We strive to ensure our dogs are going to a safe, loving and caring home. Phone interviews are required for all adoptions****

Hiya, My name is Ronni, like Ronnie Dunn from Brooks & Dunn! "I spend most every night, beneath the light of a neon moon...." Ok, maybe not neon but definitely the moon! Shall I sing another song for you??? ;) I was dumped by some meanie head on the side of the highway with my brother and another older girl dog who we're thinking was not my mom. Anywho, being next to the highway is not a safe place for us pups. A concerned college student picked us up and attempted to hide us in her parent's garage, but that was short lived as I'm sure you surmised. So here we are at Lucies. The peeps are so nice here! They got us all vetted up and have given us a place to stay until we are adopted. I'm kinda shy, cuz ya know I'm a puppy but I'm super duper cute and just know I could be a perfect addition to a loving family. What do you say, could you be that family?? My name is Echo. I used to have a family, and one day we went for a ride. We went to the country, and they let me out to pee and sniff around. I thought we were going to play, because they knew I loved to run! When I looked up, they were gone! I didn't know what to do. I went to the road and walked until I found a house. I wasn't sure what to do, because it wasn't my house. At MY house, I did whatever I wanted! Nobody told me to sit or stay or wait or anything, But I really like people. I like to run, too. I do the best I can, but nobody ever taught me how to be the best. I would so love for somebody to take me running or hiking! Me and a person...that would be so great!
