Story
Ziggy is a 3-year-old Boxer mix looking for the fresh start he truly deserves. He’s a sensitive soul with big feelings who is still learning how to express them in a healthy way. When he feels anxious, Ziggy can resource guard around other dogs, especially when it comes to things like food and water. Because of this, he would do best with a patient, experienced adopter who understands canine behavior and is willing to help him build confidence at his own pace. Despite his challenges, Ziggy’s heart is huge. He loves to snuggle, be goofy, and soak up time with his people. He truly wants to please and tries his absolute best to be a good boy. With consistency, structure, and compassion, Ziggy has so much potential to grow into the confident, happy dog he’s meant to be. He’s searching for someone who can see past his worries and give him the love and guidance he needs to shine

Story
Toby was my mother in laws dog. He is 12 years old. My MIL passed away the middle of December and we have been trying to find a home for him. I cannot take him because we live in a small home and he is a big dog. He needs room to run outside. He likes a more calm environment. There is another dog living with him now that is a full pitbull so he is used to other dogs. I don't know anything about his veterinary care except he is not neutered.

Story
Ollie is a young, active boy who loves to run around with other dogs. He enjoys attention from people. He gets along great with kids too. He would love an active family where ample exercise and mental stimulation will be provided. He wouldn't mind cleaning the floor under a highchair as his full-time job. He is being trained to walk on leash using a gentle leader. He is the best at it and would love to show you how well he does! He has visited our local assisted living center and just wanted to hug all of the residents and staff he met. He wants to please and is a good listener and a very sweet boy.FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. Story
Boone was found by two good samaritans at night in the rain on a country road. Sounds like a country song, doesn't it? Add to that scenario that Boone had mange and not much hair. His mange has been managed and his hair is in the process of growing back even though it could take months for it to fully grow in. He is a sweet puppy who is feeling better about himself. His confidence grows every day. Boone loves taking walks now and is learning to play with his foster sisters. He also lives with 2 cats and is very respectful of them. He is very smart and willing to please his humans. Boone is crate-trained and potty-trained. Being a boxer, he will require activity and mental stimulation. He is ready to make you fall in love with him!FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi … my name is Mango Grace! Read my bio to find out everything you need to know about me.   If you think I might be the perfect pup for you, go to www.allamericanmuttrescue.org/forms and complete the adoption application online. If you can't adopt and meet her special needs, you can still help her by sponsoring her extended care with tax-deductible donations designated for Mango Grace's care.   “Dogs do speak, but only to those who know how to listen.”– Orhan Pamuk (author, My Name Is Red)  Does Mango Grace speak to you?   She is a special gem in need of a special hero.Mango was a stray who ‘picked’ a family that she found. All the people in the family loved her, but Mango’s high energy and exuberance proved to be too much for their older dogs.  Her play style with other dogs is a little rough-tumble and in-your-face, and not all other dogs are OK with that.  She does not always meet new people well, but once she trusts you, she is a velcro dog with her people. She loves her current foster mom, but for the first 3 days, she growled at her too. She still needs more socialization before she can be a 'go everywhere' dog. Mango will enjoy a new family with people who have time to spend with her, who are willing to take her to training, who are willing to make sure she gets plenty of exercise … who are willing to love her and work with her to become the best dog she can be. Could that be you?Approximate age/birthdate:  born ~ April 2015 Weight/size: 45-50 lbs Housebroken:  YES (if you do your part letting her out regularly) Crate trained:  YES Personality:  busy, wary of new people at first, playful Energy level:  very energetic, rough and tumble play style  Fenced yard required?:   YES ... a physical fence (no underground/electric fences)  No Exceptions.  Mango would be a danger to neighborhood cats and possibly small dogs. She has a high prey drive. Does he/she jump fences?  NO (but she could if she wanted to) Leash walk:  YES … high energy so will still pull Obedience training:  Knows ‘sit’ Riding in vehicles:  RIDES OK … gets a little stressed at first          Spayed/neutered:   YES Up-to-date on routine vaccinations:   YES Microchipped:  NO but a chip will be provided Social with other dogs:  YES but she is selective about her friends and not all other dogs are tolerant of her energy.  Slow, proper introductions to any new dogs is a MUST with her.  She does not do well with smaller dogs if they are pushy and yappy.Social with cats: NO CATS … she plays far too rough and has a high prey drive Good with children:  Her energy may be overwhelming for small children.  Will be better with children 12 years old and up Adoption donation: $175 We are an all-volunteer group, so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits.  You can expedite the process by providing accurate email addresses for all your references.  Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have multiple applications in process.  We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible. When your application is approved, we will schedule a meet-and-greet to see if Mango Grace picks you too. If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption fee, and an adoption contract to be signed. Please feel free to email weluvpups@hotmail.com if you have additional questions.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 3, 2024, 1:59 pm

Story
Severide is a 1-year-old survivor with a heart as big as his personality. He originally came to us after being rescued from a house fire, and while all of his siblings have found their forever homes, Severide is still patiently waiting for his turn. He loves people and absolutely craves attention from everyone he meets, if you’re looking for a dog who wants to be your shadow and soak up affection, he’s your guy. Severide is active, smart, and incredibly loving, making him a great companion for someone who wants both fun and connection. Severide does well with other dogs but can be a bit selective with his friends, and he tends to prefer female dogs over males. He has lived with cats, does well with kids, he’s crate trained, and potty trained. This sweet boy has already been through so much in his short life, and now he’s ready for what he’s always deserved: a home where he will be loved, cherished, and safe. Severide is waiting for the person who will choose him and give him the forever he’s been hoping for!

Get ready to smile, because Pandora is guaranteed to brighten your day! This two-year-old, medium-sized Bulldog mix is a delightful combo of goofy charm and irresistible cuteness. With her expressive face, big soulful eyes, and stocky, squishy build, she’s got that perfect “beefy but adorable” look that turns heads everywhere she goes. Pandora’s personality is just as lovable as her looks. She’s playful and affectionate, always ready for a game of fetch, a walk around the neighborhood, or some silly zoomies in the yard. When playtime’s over, she’s the first to flop down beside you, happy to soak up all the love and attention she can get. She gets along well with other dogs. Pandora has that special balance of fun and chill, she knows when it’s time to play and when it’s time to relax. Whether she’s making you laugh with her goofy antics or melting your heart with her snuggles, Pandora brings joy to every moment. Good with dogs,
Story
Suzette is an estimated 9-year-old, 45 lbs. sweetheart with a heart of gold. When she first came to us, she was in pretty rough shape, thin and clearly lacking the care she deserved. But with some love, good food, and TLC, Suzette is on the mend and feeling so much better already. Despite being a mature lady, Suzette still has a playful side and enjoys romping around with other dogs. She does well with canine friends and proves that age is just a number. Even better? She adores people and would likely do great in a home with children. Suzette is the kind of dog who’s ready to soak up all the love she’s been missing and give it right back.
