Ripley is an adorable 4.5-year-old Brittany who is very sweet and loves, loves people.  Ripley is moderately energetic, loves to play fetch, run zoomies and go on long walks.  Once he’s had his exercise, Ripley is happy to lie next to you on the couch to watch a game or movie.  He is very smart and extremely food motivated so training is made easier. Ripley will need a home with a good-sized yard that is enclosed by a 6-foot physical fence so he can run zoomies and watch birds and squirrels.  Ripley will need an owner who is active, patient and dog savvy who can give him lots of attention and understands the exercise needs of a brit.  Ripley is currently in an obedience class and knows stay, come, and walks nicely on a leash.   The ideal adopter/s would have the time and desire to work with Ripley on continuing his obedience and social skills through positive reinforcement and consistent training.  Ripley would do best in a home as an only dog.  While he is fine with other dogs if there is a good introduction first, he thrives on having all the attention.  Ripley is very self-sufficient and can be left alone in his home comfortably, but he would love to have someone who works from home or is home most of the time.     The adoption fee for Ripley is $400.  Ripley is neutered, current on his vaccinations and microchipped.  If you are interested in making Ripley a member of your family, and have the time, energy, and love to give him, please visit www.nbran.org and complete the on-line adoption application form under the Adopt tab.  A phone interview, home visit, and vet check will be required as part of the approval process.  For more information after completing an application, call Patti at 801.841.4053. Story
Miss Bella is a lovely lady who is estimated to be between 10-12 years old weighing about 27lbs.  Even though Bella is a senior, she does need her daily walk.  She is currently walking 1-2 miles daily, after which she is content to sleep and relax the rest of the day.  She is a love sponge and will happily accept your pets and if you’re lucky some couch cuddles. She is good with other dogs in the home and would do well with a playmate, but she would also love to be the apple of your eye having your undivided attention during her golden years.   Bella is potty trained and has done well being left alone in the house with her dog sister. While she has good house manners overall, she is a bit of an opportunist and if there is unattended food on the table or counter, she will do a bit of counter surfing to go after it. Like most Brittanys, Bella enjoys looking at and stalking birds and squirrels and needs a home with a yard that is secured by a 6 ft fence to patrol and chase small critters. She is not a jumpy dog and loves meeting new people and gets very excited playing with her humans.  Bella is an absolute sweetheart who melts the hearts of everyone she meets. If you’re looking for a golden girl who will love you to the moon and back, look no further than this bundle of joy.
