Hey there, I’m Yogi Bear – but you can call me Yogi! I’m a handsome 8-year-old Boykin spaniel weighing 39 pounds of pure athletic energy and enthusiasm! If you’re looking for an active adventure buddy who’s always ready for fun, you’ve found your match. My ideal home would include a fenced yard where I can run and chase after balls – and let me tell you, I am BALL-OBSESSED! Like, seriously obsessed. It’s my passion, my hobby, my life’s work! Toss one and I’ll chase it forever. I do need a good dose of daily exercise to keep me happy, so if you love being active and outdoors, we’re going to get along great! Now, I’m a sweet and loving boy with a bit of a independent streak, so I’ll do best with an experienced dog person who appreciates a pup with personality! I’m ok with other dogs at the park or on walks, but at home, I like to be the star of the show and have all the attention to myself. So I’m looking for a one-dog kind of household. No cats and no kids for me either, please. I’m fully house-trained, perfectly fine hanging out solo while you’re away, and overall a pretty easygoing guy. Fair warning though: loud noises and thunder aren’t my jam, so I’ll need your comfort during stormy weather! Woof! The name's Mykah, and I'm a gorgeous 5-year-old black cocker spaniel with a BIG personality packed into my perfect 28-pound frame! Let me paint you a picture of my ideal day: It starts with me doing my happy dance because someone's reaching for my leash - I am PASSIONATE about my walks! Sure, I'm still working on my "chill out when I see other dogs and people" skills, but hey, nobody's perfect, right? Next up? Time to channel my inner athlete! Whether I'm dominating a game of fetch, conducting serious squirrel research in the yard, or making waves in the backyard pool, I bring 110% energy to everything I do. But here's where I get really special - I’m a big love at heart and once I get to know you and feel safe, I am yours forever!! I will become your devoted sidekick, ready for movie nights, morning snuggles, and being the best shadow you've ever had! and because I bond so strongly with my humans, it would be best if there are no small kids in the house. I'm also a total gentleman when it comes to house manners and grooming (these good looks don't maintain themselves!), I get along with other dogs but not cats, and I've already mastered the art of toy hunting - seriously, I've found every single one in this place! Hi, I'm Tony! I'm a 1.5-year-old English Cocker Spaniel boy with a gorgeous black and tan coat and a whole lot of personality to match. I came to FCCR from a local animal shelter, and I am SO ready to find my forever person. Let's talk about my favorite hobby: carrying things. Tennis balls, rocks, whatever I can find — I love to have something in my mouth on my walks. I'll even fetch for you! Fair warning though: I'm not really into dropping it… but once I trust you, I'll let you take it right out of my mouth so you can throw it again. I am a certified Velcro Cocker, which means I want to be close to MY person at all times. I do best as the one and only dog in a home, OR with a calm, easygoing pup who understands the concept of personal space. If another dog tries to get between me and my person, I'm not a fan. I also like to eat my meals in peace — solo dining only, please! I can be protective of my food bowl, but I trust my person to handle it. I'm currently on medication to help manage my anxiety, and it's making a real difference. On walks I can get a little vocal around strangers and other dogs — I'm just working through my feelings! — and I'll need some patience and treat motivation around my crate. A little grooming sensitive too — I may need to be medicated to get through a grooming session. I'm looking for an experienced Cocker home with NO kids — someone who gets the Cocker-tude and loves us anyway. BONDED WITH LEYLA Hi there! We’re Dexter and Leyla, a bonded pair of 10-year-old Cocker Spaniels looking for our forever home — together! We were recently surrendered to a Florida shelter through no fault of our own, and now we’re ready to fill someone’s home (and sofa!) with all the love we’ve got. Let’s talk about us individually, because we have very different personalities! Dexter is the social butterfly of the two — high energy, totally trustworthy, and always ready to start the day the moment you open your eyes. Oh, and fair warning: he’s a certified sock thief. Leyla is our more reserved girl and has some strong opinions — she is not a fan of being picked up suddenly or having her trash treasures taken away. She won't always be glued to your side, but don't let that fool you. Scratch her ears and watch her little paw reach out asking for more. She is a sweet senior lady. We are both treat-motivated (yes, VERY) and our weights (35lbs each) show it!! We are pretty good leash walkers who just need a few minutes to find our groove which is a good thing because we both need to slim down! We sleep through the night like champs in our cozy bedroom beds. We've been left home alone without any issues, and we are mostly housebroken — just a couple of minor accidents early on that were likely just tummy adjustments from a food change. We would do best in a home with dog-savvy kids 13 and up, and while we're probably fine with other dogs, we have no idea how we feel about cats. We come as a package deal — two hearts, four ears to scratch, and twice the love.
