Meet Tillie — the goodest girl with a little bit of silly mixed in. Tillie is a 2-year-old Poodle mix who may be cautious when you first meet her, but give her a little affection and she’ll be wondering why you haven’t become her best friend yet. She warms up quickly, loves cuddles, and is especially talented at giving kisses to her favorite people and doggy friends. Inside the house, Tillie is calm, quiet, and incredibly well-behaved. Then the door opens and suddenly… where did that calm girl go? Outside, she turns into a happy, playful goofball who loves to run, jump, and twirl. She’s basically two dogs in one. Tillie is already showing what a good girl she is: • Completely potty trained with no accidents • Knows “come” • Walks nicely when she feels comfortable • Medium energy • Loves praise • Loves her person and quickly forms a bond • Enjoys cuddling and being petted • Has been wonderful with young children, including ages 2–5 • Dog friendly, although she appreciates a little space while getting acquainted She can be nervous in new situations, especially at the vet, and she may freeze when she’s unsure. New people and dogs can take a little time, but once Tillie realizes you’re a friend, she is all about the love. She’s also very good at communicating when she’s had enough attention from little ones, so adult supervision will always be important with young children. And then there’s Tillie’s favorite little game: sometimes she decides that coming back inside is optional and turns it into a “come catch me!” adventure. We’re calling it classic doodle behavior. More than anything, Tillie wants her person. She follows her human everywhere and would love someone who is looking for a loving companion who wants to be by their side, give lots of kisses, and soak up all the affection she can get. Calm. Sweet. Playful. Loving. A little goofy. The goodest girl is ready for her forever person.
