Story
Hexe is really sweet and gentle. She was a stray kitten in Los Angeles and we took her in and then moved her to Omaha with us when we finished college. Her name means “witch” in German and her birthday is in October. She’s a great, spooky girl! She is a little older, about 9 and is looking for someone to give her pets on the couch. She’s not aggressive with children, but is pretty stand-off ish with them. She might do better in a house with older kids who can play gently with her. We need to find her a new home due to our toddler’s allergies. No behavior issues.

Story
I adopted Mitch from the NE. Humane Society in 2015. He was 3 months old. I just found out he’s diabetic & needs medication which I cannot afford. (I also found out he’s got bad teeth as well). 2 years ago he had a rabies shot & also, apparently, got an infection in his right ear (I think my other cat bit him)—- that’s why he has that ‘cauliflower’ ear now. He’s VERY SHY… he has been this way for 10 years…BUT, this is the SWEETEST cat I have ever loved (I’ve had cats in my life for 60 years). He would love to have another playful cat to play with… he loves to play. My other cat has never wanted to bond with him & I have no idea why since I brought them home the same day. I would love to find a loving home & who can afford diabetes medicine because this cat has such a beautiful soul… so gentle & loving!!!!

Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Mya is shy but once you earn her trust, she is very affectionate. She is vocal with a dedication toward following her owner and seeking interaction. She enjoys lap cuddles, head scratches, chin rubs, and belly rubs. She seeks attention with head-butts and enjoys being carried. She is very vocal and clearly communicates her need for attention. She has moderate energy but occasionally experiences zoomies that involve climbing on door frames. Mya enjoys bird-watching and perching high or burrowing under covers. She is a persistent counter-surfer and will snatch unattended food. Her vocal nature suggests potential separation anxiety. Litter box trained. Up-to-date on vet care/vaccines. Appears to be allergic to chicken and chicken by-products, which causes frequent vomiting. Ideal as an only pet. Her timid nature makes her prone to bullying from other cats, she has never lived with dogs. She thrives in a calm and loving home with an owner willing to devote time and attention.
