British Shorthair kittens & cats in Henderson, Nevada

He is a really sweet cat, looking for a loving home. He loves cuddles and will sleep on you if you allow him. He is a bit shy at first but he comes around once he feels safe.

Teddy is 5 years old (born in September 2021) and he came to live with us in February 2023 after our beloved cat passed away. A friend was moving and needed to rehome him. They had him since he was a small kitten and he grew up with three young children until he was 17 months old. We had two much older cats at the time and he didn't appear to want to blend in, which can be understandable. We introduced other kittens in the home after the older ones passed and Teddy has never been comfortable with the group and appears to be somewhat stressed. He will play with them and groom them, to a point but seems to have a low tolerance for the others. We don't want him to be unhappy and feel like he needs to be either the only cat or one of two cats (and he's fine with dogs) in a home. He appears to be in good health, eats and drinks well. Enjoys playing with any toys that dangle or skitter across the floor. He likes to sit on laps and is a cuddler. No special needs. He's a sweet boy.

I'm Simon, a sleek 6-year-old black American Shorthair with a heart as warm as they come! 🖤 I'm neutered and ready for my forever home, where I can share my gentle and friendly nature with someone special. You'll notice my ear tip — it's my badge of honor from my days before shelter life. I'm looking for a calm, loving home where I can soak up affection and show you just how rewarding a cat companion can be. I am very particular when it comes to being picked up and I can get overwhelmed easily by it. I will need time to adjust to get comfortable for pick ups but I promise I'm worth it! I am a sweet and affectionate boy that will seek you out for attention on my own terms. Come meet me soon — I'd love to make you smile! 😺
