Story
Hello, This is a very difficult decision for our family, and not one we take lightly. We recently welcomed our 4th child into the world, and with the demands of a newborn and a full household, we’ve come to the realization that we can no longer give our dog the time, structure, and attention she truly deserves. She is a loving, sweet dog who thrives on attention and activity. She does very well with children and gets along great with other dogs. She has a good heart and wants to be part of the family. That said, she does have some anxiety and needs a consistent routine. She will do best in a home where she can be exercised regularly (at least twice a day) and where someone has the time to work with her and give her the attention she needs. She is not a good fit for a home with xxxx@xxxx.x adopted her in Arizona when she was about 6 months old, and she has been a part of our family since. This is not about giving up on her—it’s about finding her a home where she can truly thrive.

Rescued as a stray and recently spayed and now microchipped. She is reserved initially, but comes out of her shell quickly. She is easily engaged with affection and attention, eager to please and crate trained. For additional information call Lydia at 714-357-8405. If this listing is still posted, we are still accepting applications. We do not do out-of-state adoptions. We do not hold dogs, please submit your application when you are ready to adopt. If you are interested in meeting any Poochmatch dog, please visit our website to complete an adoption application. It is in the ADOPTION folder at the top of our home page. Just fill in the blanks and SEND. We commonly receive multiple applications for a single dog. Nevertheless, only one applicant will be invited to meet a dog at a mutually agreeable appointment day, time & place. Usually Petsmart Yorba Linda or our Santa Ana location near South Coast Plaza. All adoption fees cover the mandatory and non-negotiable spay/neuter, rabies, microchip, microchip registration, full sets of core vaccinations (rabies and 1 set of distemper/parvo for adults, 4 for puppies) and deworming. Adoption fees vary based on age, breed, size and the costs incurred on the dog's behalf by us i.e. medical, behavioral training, etc.

These beautiful girls were rescued as strays. They are in the care of my neighbor where they have full and exclusive access a sizable yard and are content to play with each other and their toys. Boone is an incredible dog. He’s loyal, intelligent, athletic, and deeply devoted to his people. He thrives when he has structure, purpose, and one-on-one attention. In the right environment, he will be someone’s absolute best friend. Boone would do best in a home that: Has experience with high-energy, working breeds, Lives an active lifestyle (running, hiking, hunting, or lots of outdoor time), Can give him consistent attention, training, and engagement and Does not have SMALL children. While Boone has been part of our family, we’ve seen that as our young kids have grown and our home has become busier, he has become increasingly overwhelmed. We move every 2-3 years (military) and this last move proved to be too much for him. It was his 3rd move in his 5 years. He deserves a calmer environment where he can truly thrive and feel at ease. Our priority is finding Boone a home where he will be understood, exercised, and appreciated for the amazing dog he is.
