Story
Meet Tank Ty – The Golden Boy with a Heart Full of Love! Don't let the "senior" title fool you...Tank Ty didn't get the memo that he's almost 10 years old! At 9½ years young, this handsome 45-pound orange and white Brittany still has plenty of pep in his step, zoomies in his paws, and love overflowing from his big Brittany heart. Tank is the kind of dog who believes personal space is highly overrated. If you're sitting down, he's sitting with you. If you're walking through the house, he's your faithful shadow. If you're looking for a best friend who wants to be part of everything you do, Tank is already packed and ready! One of Tank's favorite hobbies is carrying around "treasures." Shoes, toys, socks...he'll proudly parade them around while deciding whether they're collectibles or chew toys, so it's best to keep those prized possessions picked up. He also considers himself your official taste tester and would be more than happy to help you finish any snack you're eating. Tank still loves to romp around the yard, race through a few joyful zoomies, and then settle in for what he considers the perfect reward—a yummy treat, plenty of butt scratches, and a cozy snuggle beside his favorite person. His fenced yard isn't just for exercise...it's also his kingdom to patrol. Squirrels, rabbits, and any other furry visitors should know that Tank takes neighborhood security very seriously! Tank gets along well with other dogs but enjoys being the leading man. He would be happiest with a laid-back female canine companion who doesn't mind letting him be the charming star of the show. Dog-savvy cats are just fine, and he enjoys kids, rides beautifully in the car, and is always ready for the next family adventure. Tank is housebroken, up to date on all vaccinations, heartworm and tick negative, and on monthly heartworm, flea, and tick prevention. A secure physical fenced yard will allow him to safely enjoy his daily patrols and those happy Brittany zoomies that remind everyone age is just a number. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will make you laugh, keep you company, remind you to put your shoes away, and fill your days with unconditional love, Tank Ty is ready to become your favorite shadow. Tank's perfect day? A few joyful zoomies, a thorough backyard patrol, a tasty snack, plenty of butt scratches, and snuggling up beside the people he loves most. At the end of the day, that's all this sweet Brittany gentleman really wants. MEDICAL NOTE:  TANK HAD A THYROIDECTOMY-LEFT CLEAR MARGINS ON 04/29/26.  IT WAS A CLEAN, SUCCESSFUL SURGERY.  TESTED HIS THYROID ON 07/14/26 AND IT WAS PERFECT.  NO MEDS. The adoption fee for OK/Tank Ty,  who lives in Tulsa, OK area  is $350, (which helps to offset our vetting and allows NBRAN to rescue more of these wonderful family members.  If you are interested in making OK/Tank Ty part of your family, please complete the online application by visiting www.nbran.org .  Please let your state coordinator know so we can get the ball rolling.  Also, please email the state coordinator of OK/Tank Ty-Melinde Waddle @ macgammy@gmail.com  Once approved by your state coordinator, I will setup talking to the foster of Tank Ty. Story
Sweet Abby is sugar, spice, and everything nice. A perfect recipe of pure preciousness, she is a 5 year (DOB 3/30/2021-exact) orange and white female spayed purebred Brittany. Abby is up to date on all vaccines and a bonafide lovebug. Even though Abby needs a little weight loss, 65 lbs. is not her ideal weight, she is still remarkably close to perfection. Other than some excess weight, Abby is healthy. Abby is calm, eager to please, and extremely affectionate. She had been with her owners since she was a puppy, but unfortunately, one of the owners was having health issues and it was discovered she was allergic to dogs. Abby is housetrained, crate trained and has great house manners. She is very laid back and friendly to adults, as well as children. Abby loves to take rides in the car and will be your best friend. She is not extremely active and has a submissive personality. She is good with both dogs and cats. Because Abby is extremely food motivated, she will need help on her weight loss journey. According to Abby’s foster dad, she is a perfect candidate for an invisible fence. She pulls a little when walking on a leash, but nothing extreme. She enjoys walks with her foster dad and foster fur sibling multiple times a week. As a matter of fact, she has lost some weight over the brief time she has been at her foster home. With food portion management and regular exercise, Abby will be at an ideal weight in no time. Are you looking for a wonderful adult Brittany to join your family? Abby is your gal! Abby’s adoption fee is $350, and she is being fostered in middle north Tennessee. Just a reminder that NBRAN will transport adopted dogs to their approved homes up to 1400 miles, with the adopter being responsible for the last approximately 100 miles. Story
Meet Your New Best Friend! Jayce is a 3-year-old Brittnay Mix who is looking for his forever home. While he might be a little shy when you first meet him, give him a moment to come out of his shell, and you'll find a funny, bouncy, and deeply loving companion. Jayce is a "paws-on" kind of dog! He is famous for his hugs and will spend his time trying to wrap his paws around you if he isn't already trying to curl up in your lap. He is the perfect blend of a lounge partner and a playmate. Because of his cautious temperament, Jayce has some specific needs to help him feel safe and successful: No Other Dogs: He prefers being the "only child" and can be reactive toward strange dogs. Quiet Environment: He would not enjoy the high-stress environment of a dog park. Patient Humans: He needs an owner who understands he needs to approach new things at his own pace. No Strangers (at first): He can be vocal with people he doesn't know, but his loyalty to his inner circle is unmatched. If you have the patience to let him blossom, you will be rewarded with a level of love and loyalty that only a dog like Jayce can give. He is ready to be your most devoted friend. Jayce's adoption fee is $325 to offset the cost of vetting and help other rescues in need. He is currently located in Georgia and can be transported up to 1400 miles via our Canine Railroad. Story
Hi there… I’m Gabby Sue  Please help me find my forever home.... I need my forever. A 55 lb spayed liver/white/roan Brittany/GSP/Mix girl with a whole lot of love to give I’m what you’d call the perfect mix of playful and cuddly. I’ll have my little bursts of energy (because, well… zoomies are important ), and then I’m right back by your side, ready to snuggle up and be your couch buddy. Honestly… I’d be perfectly happy being your full-time cuddle companion. I really love my people… like, “I’d rather be right under you than pose for pictures” kind of love Because I love so big, I’d do best as your one and only pup—so I can soak up all the attention and give it right back to you tenfold. I’ll also need a physical fenced yard so I can safely enjoy my outdoor time and little bursts of fun. My story almost didn’t have a happy ending… I was scheduled for euthanasia, my babies were taken away, and I was so scared and crying But kind people stepped in just in time—and now I’m safe, loved, and ready for my real forever home. I’m healthy, heartworm & tick negative, and on prevention—just waiting for someone to choose me. All I want is a home full of love… and someone to call mine The adoption fee for OK/Gabby Sue,  who lives in Tulsa, OK  is $325, (which helps to offset our vetting and allows NBRAN to rescue more of these wonderful family members.  If you are interested in making OK/Gabby Sue part of your family, please complete the online application by visiting www.nbran.org .  Please let your state coordinator know so we can get the ball rolling.  Also, please email the state coordinator of OK/Gabby Sue-Melinde Waddle @ macgammy@gmail.com  Once approved by your state coordinator, I will be able to talk to you on Gabby Sue.   Transportation can be arranged up  to 1400 miles with the adopter being responsible for at least the last 100 miles.  July 24, 2026, 10:19 pm
