Story
Maple is a 2.5-year-old French Brittany who packs a whole lot of charm into her perfect 25-pound frame. Her foster family lovingly calls her “Meatball,” and honestly…it fits. She’s adorable, goofy, snuggly, and absolutely devoted to her people. Maple LOVES car rides, plush toys, and curling up next to you for belly rubs. She didn’t get much freedom or enrichment in her early life and likely spent most of her time in a kennel, so she came to us needing a refresher on potty training and some basic house habits. She’s made steady progress but still needs a patient family willing to keep her routine consistent. She can be a bit curious and may check out items that aren’t technically “hers,” so keeping tempting things out of reach and offering plenty of dog-safe toys will set her up for success. Maple does well in her kennel when her people are out of the house. She may give a little protest bark at first (she just has to make sure you know she has notes), but she settles down and rests quietly once she realizes she’s safe. Maple is not a dog that can live with or closely interact with other dogs. Through training, she has made progress in calmly seeing dogs at a distance with positive reinforcement, but pushing those interactions too quickly can cause anxiety for her. For her comfort and safety, she must be an only dog, and a fenced-in yard (ideally privacy fenced) would suit her best so she can explore and enjoy the outdoors stress-free. She’s playful, affectionate, and incredibly people-oriented. Maple has mastered “sit", and is working on more tricks, but needs a little patience since she isn’t very food motivated. Maple is spayed, current on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Now she’s just waiting for a family who sees how special she is and can give her the structure, love, and dog-free home she deserves. Hi there! My name is Nugget, and yes… I’m just as adorable as my name suggests. I may be small in name, but my heart is BIG and full of love I am a healthy 43 lb 4 yr old orange/white neutered male. UTD on vaccines, heartworm and tick neg, and on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. Crate trained, rides well in the car, and I want to be your loving companion. I have a tail to wag for you to show you how happy I am. I’m a happy, affectionate pup who loves being near my people. Whether it’s following you around the house, soaking up belly rubs, or wagging my tail just because you looked at me, I’m all in. I enjoy playtime, sniffing around the yard, and then curling up for some well-earned cuddle time.  I’m learning what it means to feel safe and loved, and I’m doing a great job! I just need a forever family who will be patient, kind, and ready to spoil me with toys, treats, and lots of affection.
