Russell will be 6 years old on July 20th! We acquired him as a puppy in 2020 from Virginia. He has been with us for almost 6 years now, however recently with a new baby in our home and allergies we are unable to keep him (as hard as this decision is). He is a very energetic, smart, loving, food driven, goof ball. He loves to cuddle and is extremely friendly. One thing about Russ is he loves the outdoors: going on walks, dog parks and even river days. He has been a part of our family and means a lot to us, all I ask is for a loving home for Russ. A family who will take the time to do the things he loves and give him a wonderful life.

We’re searching for a kind and caring family to adopt a wonderful dog who deserves a second chance. My father found him abandoned as a puppy at his former workplace and took him in to give him a safe and loving home. Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, he does not get along with my father’s other dog, making it difficult to keep him long-term. He is a good dog who simply needs the right environment where he can thrive and receive the love and attention he deserves. Our goal is to find him a forever home with a family who will cherish him. We would much rather see him go to a loving home than have to surrender him to a shelter, where we worry about his future.
