💜 Meet Wonder! 💜
3 Months Old | 13 Pounds | Beagle/Brittany Spaniel Mix (Our Best Guess!)
And just like her name suggests, this little girl is a wonderful work in progress!
Wonder is a three-month-old, 13-pound Beagle/Brittany Spaniel mix of some kind—or at least that’s our best guess! Mom looks like a Brittany Spaniel, and Dad? Well, apparently he preferred to remain a mystery! Whatever the combination, it certainly produced one adorable little girl!
Wonder’s story began when her mama, a stray, wandered into someone’s backyard with three puppies in tow. Wonder was one of those lucky little passengers, although her early introduction to the world hadn’t included much human affection.
When the puppies first arrived, it was obvious they hadn’t been handled much. Their little tails were wagging, and they certainly knew the value of a good treat, but being picked up, cuddled, and showered with love? That was unfamiliar territory! They weren’t sure what all these humans wanted with them!
Fast forward just two weeks, and what a transformation! Wonder has come such a long way! Her confidence is growing, her personality is emerging, and she’s discovering that humans can actually be pretty wonderful!
Now, when it comes to playing with other dogs, Wonder needs absolutely NO lessons! She’s a happy, playful little girl who loves toys, romping around with her puppy friends, and exploring everything around her. Put her with other dogs, and the party starts!
With her possible Beagle and Spaniel heritage, Wonder may have inherited some of those delightful traits: curiosity, intelligence, a playful spirit, a nose for adventure, and just enough mischief to keep life interesting!
Wonder will need a patient, loving family who understands that she’s still learning about human affection. She has made tremendous progress in a short time, but she’ll need gentle encouragement, consistency, and time to blossom into the confident, affectionate little girl!
Wonder isn’t looking for a miracle. She’s just looking for someone who understands that sometimes the most wonderful things in life are worth waiting for! 💜🐾
